Aw, siren, I've enjoyed your posts, too. I would talk to you more if I weren't a self-involved bitch. But what are ya gonna do...
If you aren't allowed to choose Sorry-Grateful, what's your next-favorite Sondheim song?
Hmmm, good question... Well... It would probably be Judge Turpin's "Johanna" from Sweeney Todd. I think it's an incredible song and, strangely enough, beautiful in its creepiness.
What's your favorite city?
Chicago. I love Chicago soooo much. I moved here without a job and hardly any money just because I love this city so much.

Our celeb of the day has thus shown her brilliance.

Thanks, penguin. *blushes*
Thank you, too, YWIW! I hope that by being CotD, I am exempt from the imminent slaughter of humans by cats.

Oooh, katygrace, I just caught that post. Thank you! Have I mentioned we need to watch The Long Hot Summer again? Or, for some of us who fell asleep in the first five minutes, for the first time...
Kitz-- Well, first I'll teach you how to spell "grateful." Then I will do a merry little jig to the tune of your favorite ALW song. How's that sound?

Since ALW mostly makes me want to shoot myself in the head, probably not the world's best solution

Oh SG! You are a little snarker, aren't you? Sigh. Well, once I teach you how to spell "creepiness" it'll be all good. And then I'll make you my little beeyotch and you will sit through marathon screenings of Rent and Simply Irresistable.

Alright, I think I need to break up these private conversations because some people find them VERY annoying.
Congrats SG!
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
If you could be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be, and what would you do?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?

SG..your interview with Poe made me laugh.
BTW...What inspires you?

Posted: 3/30/06 at 1:09pmSG - Actually, the dog in my avatar is a Welsh Terrier who belongs to a good friend of mine. He has been my BWW mascot for almost 2 years now. I actually have two dogs - a Golden Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel. I might throw their pictures on the board someday, but they prefer to stay out of the spotlight! :)

I'm guessing that our mahvelous celeb is at lunch right now. Probably at Borders being a total whore. (I only mock because I'm jealous.)
Shameless, as someone who has known SG for about 6 years, I can tell you how I would describe her. However, I will wait and let her answer your question and then tell you how accurate it is. One thing I will tell you now, though, is that she is one of those people who will never realize how truly incredible she really is. I give her a lot of crap but I love her dearly!

OK, katygrace, thanks for making me tear up. You bitch. And I decided to stay in for lunch today and not use all my money at Borders. At least, not now. And on to shameless's questions because they're interesting! It's like therapy in here!
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
I would want my mother. No one else makes me feel safer or better than my mom.
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
Watching myself change since I moved to Chicago in the way I'm becoming more assertive
If you could be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be, and what would you do?
Truthfully, I really like being me, but I would definitely be at home, getting my stuff ready to go down to the beach, since it's warm today. Simple things, you know.
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
Definitely mine and katygrace's cats and my two books I mentioned earlier, Lolita and EAP stuff. But cats first, of course.
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
Oh my goodness, this is a tough one. I honestly don't know. I put on different faces for different people and, good or bad, I think I'm different around different people. Make katygrace do it because I truly don't know.
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
I have always wanted to go skydiving or live abroad, but both make me scared.

Exactly.
Ooops, I missed Boobs' question:
What inspires you?
Those small, often temporary human connections always get me excited about being alive. For instance, I used to work in a grocery store and one day there was a huge storm and all the power went out. Suddenly everyone had this shared experience of being stuck in a grocery store in the total dark for about a half hour and that made me happy. I am not sure if that makes sense.
#3971message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - sorrygrateful
Posted: 3/30/06 at 1:50pmMakes perfect sense to me..thank you.
