Congrats, LJay, clearly I'm late for the party. Since we share a common love for CHICAGO and FOLLIES I was wondering what is the major highlight from the current CHICAGO revival for you as well as what was the biggest highlight from the FOLLIES Encores! concert. Also, what would be your dream cast for both shows (with celebrities who are alive from any medium--TV, movie, theater even if they would never do it). Congrats again!

Congrats to one of the posters I most find myself agreeing with 90% of the time! Haha
Okay, I know your love of Follies so here are a few toughies (some not so tough):
-Alexis Smith or Dorothy Collins? -Barbara Cook or Lee Remick? -Diana Rigg or Julia MacKenzie? -Dee Hoty (ew. Sorry :-X) or Donna McKechnie? -Blythe Danner... or Judith Ivey? -Donna Murphy or Victoria Clark? -PHYLLIS OR SALLY? -Best Buddy? -Best Ben?

- Thanks!!
Follies Biggest highlight - probably WHO'S THAT WOMAN and TOO MANY MORNINGS. I dreamed of the day to see TOO MANY MORNINGS played out live. And it was amazing. And it just breaks my heart when Buddy walks in on the end. AMAZING.
Chicago Highlight - ALL THAT JAZZ, and MY OWN BEST FRIEND/ACT1 FINALE. Two amazing moments.
dream casts - tough question. I think the FOLLIES leads were like a dream cast. I was so satisfied. CHICAGO - I would like to see Liza as Mama Morton. -- Muscle - No. I'm not. ----- What is a memorable thread/conversation you have participated in on BWW? - Oh man too many. I remember one thread we were posting tons of pics of half naked men. It was great. the mods eventually got there and ruined the fun. But man the pics we were posting!
What do you like to do in the summer that you don't do during other seasons? - Swim. beach. etc
Favorite drink? soda. lol
When was the last time you did something and then thought "that was a complete waste of my life"? - ummmm. college placement test i took last weekend lol. important, but still wasted moments of my life.
Something interesting you did over the weekend - all i've been doing is working. --------- thanks C! Yay fun questions.
-Alexis Smith or Dorothy Collins? Love Alexis. But have to go with my girl Dorothy. She remains the one Sally to nail the child-like aspect of the character PERFECTLY. Sometimes she really sounded like a little girl talking.
-Barbara Cook or Lee Remick? Barbara. She sounded wonderful as Sally. Lee was great, but not that impressive.
Diana Rigg or Julia MacKenzie? Ok. Maybe I prefer Sallys. Julia sounds amazing as Sally. Her LOSING MY MIND is killer.
-Dee Hoty (ew. Sorry :-X) or Donna McKechnie? DONNA! Her soprano truly sounded glorious as Sally.
Blythe Danner... or Judith Ivey? Ehh. From what I've seen & heard. Both are kind of blah.
-Donna Murphy or Victoria Clark? CAN'T PICK. Don't make me! Both blew me away. -PHYLLIS OR SALLY? I think it's obvious I prefer my Sally. Love Phyllis. But Sally has my heart.
-Best Buddy? GENE!! What a dancer. What a performer.
-Best Ben? my man John McMartin! Truly underrated as Ben.

Wow, C is for Company, you truly rocked that question! I love it.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Glad I've got a free day to obsessively refresh the page!
What would be your perfect day? A nice afternoon of excellent theater, topped off by watching the sunset at my poolclub.
What is your favorite theatrical experience? I'd have to say the original cast of The Producers. Very little has come close to the magic the entire original company had.
Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate, definitely
Coke or Pepsi? Coke...it's sweeter.
Cats or dogs? Cats, even though they stare you down. Dogs bark whenever I pass one....I think I may be the devil!

I don't like revealing my age, but I'll say I'm in college (so anywhere between 19 and 21).
Broadway obsessed - definitely.
10 favorite stars (people I'd drop everything to go see, in order) - Kevin Kline, Nathan Lane, Christine Ebersole, Vanessa Redgrave, Judy Kaye, Donna Murphy, Michael Cerveris, Brian Dennehy
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what material possessions would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?

What has given you the most pleasure in the last year? Seeing really good Broadway, college, and local theater.
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you? I'm not as much of a ****in person as I am around here.
If your house were on fire, what material possessions would you grab on the way out? My laptop, a few Playbills, and as many of my extensive collection of The Simpsons action figures as I could fit in a pillowcase.
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be? Very likable, very friendly. It would be surprisingly accurate, go figure!
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try? Ride a rollercoaster....I've always been too scared, and the last time I was at an amusement park (like Disney/Universal) was a good five years ago.
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given? I wish I could say something profound, like donating a kidney....I bought a friend a Pirate Queen poster for his birthday (he liked it, since it's a rare item, as of Sunday). Great gift I've been given: the opportunity to be fortunate enough to go traveling every summer (England and Scotland this year).
