Awww, CONGRATS, WW11!!! My chat buddy and one of my fav. posters on here!
Top 5 Diva performances?
If you could choose five actresses who lost the Tony-Award for Best Actress in a Musical to someone else, which actress would you pick (mention the actress who won that year)?
Three cast recordings you would take if you were to leave to a place where you could find no music?
If you could choose a movie that were to become a musical, which one would it be? Who would be part of the cast? Who would write it?
Movies/Shows that failed that could have been better with another cast/director/creative team?

Congratulations on your day, WW11! (Ooh, that looks like the acronym for "World War II." Maybe I'll just call you "Wonderful." That's much nicer.)

Congratulations!
What is a memorable thread/conversation you have participated in on BWW?
What do you like to do in the summer that you don't do during other seasons?
Favorite drink?
When was the last time you did something and then thought "that was a complete waste of my life"?
Something interesting you did over the weekend (or are planning to do this weekend):

Top 5 Diva performances?
Patti LuPone in Evita
Angela Lansbury in Sweeney Todd
Ethel Merman in Gypsy
Christine Ebersole in Grey Gardens
Donna Murphy in Follies
If you could choose five actresses who lost the Tony-Award for Best Actress in a Musical to someone else, which actress would you pick (mention the actress who won that year)?
Bernadette Peters for Sunday in the Park with George (Chita Rivera won for The Rink
Ethel Merman for Gypsy (Mary Martin won for The Sound of Music)
Patti LuPone for Sweeney Todd (LaChanze won for The Color Purple)
Elaine Strich for Company (Helen Gallagher won for No, No, Nanette)
Julie Andrews for My Fair Lady (Judy Holliday won for Bells Are Ringing)
If you could choose a movie that were to become a musical, which one would it be? Who would be part of the cast? Who would write it?
I would like to see Psycho as a musical. I don't know who would star, but I think Sondheim could do well with it.
Movies/Shows that failed that could have been better with another cast/director/creative team?
I think The Lion King could have been spectacular with a better book and score.
Do you go for all the healthy food hype, or do you just do your own thing?
Not really. I mean, I try to eat somewhat healthy, but I don't always suceed.
What is your least favorite thing about the city? What is your favorite?
Do you mean New York? My favorite has got to the theatre district, of course! I'm not too fond of the tourists though.
What is a memorable thread/conversation you have participated in on BWW?
I think the antonijan meltdown is the top for me. And all the tmm_fan threads were fun as well.
What do you like to do in the summer that you don't do during other seasons?
Swim and sleep in.
Favorite drink?
Sprite. But only when it's cold.
When was the last time you did something and then thought "that was a complete waste of my life"?
Some of my recent voice lessons have felt like that.
Something interesting you did over the weekend (or are planning to do this weekend):
I went to the movies last week. It was fun, but POTC was too long for me.

You mentioned voice lessons...So I assume you're pursuing acting as a career. When were you first inspired to pursue it?

When I first listened to Les Mis, I absolutely loved Philip Quast's rendition of "Stars" on the Symphonic Recording, so I decided to sing the song for talent show type thing in elemetary school. I can't imagine what I sounded like at the time, as a sixth-grader should NOT be singing "Stars" but everyone in my class loved it, so I decided to take voice lessons. I supposed that's where I was inspired to start singing, and later, acting as well.

If you could hold down one BWW poster while Patti Lupone kicked them in the head, who would that be?

YAY WondeyWiz, you know you're one of my favourites!
What's your least favourite thing about BWW?
And what is it that you love about it?
What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
What's the one role you wish you could play, but you never will?

What's your least favourite thing about BWW?
The annoying fans of ANY show, not just Wicked/Rent.
And what is it that you love about it?
How much people know about theatre. I wouldn't know half the things I know about Broadway if not for this site. And the chats!
What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
I can remember jumping from a trampoline in to a pool. Not a good idea.
What's the one role you wish you could play, but you never will?
Dot in Sunday.

Who would you cast as Momma Rose in the proposed GYPSY film re-make?
What actress today do you think will make a brilliant Momma Rose when the show is revived 10 years from now?
What Broadway revival would you hope to make your Broadway debut?
If you could play opposite any star on the stage which one would it be?
Showtunes you would definitely sing if you could have your Carnegie Hall debut?

I like the ideas of Meryl Streep and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
What actress today do you think will make a brilliant Momma Rose when the show is revived 10 years from now?
No idea, honestly.
What Broadway revival would you hope to make your Broadway debut?
Tobias in a revival of Sweeney Todd (sans instruments please, I can't play the violin, piano, or clarinet).
If you could play opposite any star on the stage which one would it be?
I would love to do something with Patti LuPone.
Showtunes you would definitely sing if you could have your Carnegie Hall debut?
On the Street Where You Live, My Fair Lady
Not While I'm Around, Sweeney Todd
If I Loved You, Carousel

If you could pick one playbill angle for your wall, which would it be?
If you could pick one absolutely dreadful, nasty, and utterly loathsome poster here, who would it be?
If C was for one thing, what would that be?
