Maybe he feels it time to move on. Possibly he will get more money. Maybe there us friction behind the scenes with the two.Who knows.

I'm thinking he's getting more creative say behind the scenes at GMA. I doubt there is friction between he and Kelly as she was a BIG advocate for him getting the job years ago.

I was kind of surprised to read this. I think the two are wonderful together. He also has to wake up even earlier now.

I remember during that interim period where they were testing by our co-hosts, I loved Seth Meyers the most. This is shocking though.

I always felt he would only be on "LIVE" for a short time until something better came along. Is he staying with the show until August??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I said whenever Regis left they should just make the show Kelly's and rotate guest co-host. I wouldn't mind seeing Mark on my TV everyday but I know they've said in the past they'd never do it.

He's doing so.much, between Live, GMA and still on a sports show during Football season -- I've often wondered how long he'd keep up the pace .

Two articles I just read indicate the front-runners to replace him are Anderson Cooper (reportedly Kelly's first choice) and Neil Patrick Harris.

reports are also surfacing that she "called out" at the last minute, leaving producers to find someone local to fill-in. When does Ripa's contract expire?? Maybe she wants out now, too??

I DVR K&M everyday. I didn't want her to have a full time co-host. I thought it was fun when there was a revolving one when they were testing guys out in the beginning to find a permanent one. I warmed up to him after awhile. That said, I find I don't usually watch my DVRed shows when he's the one there with a co-host, but I'll watch the ones when she's there with a sub.
I can't stand NPH. I'll definitely stop watching if he gets the gig.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2. "unleash the girly"

Some claim she and Gelman were blindsided, others say the move was planned for months.
After Kelly's actions today, I'm curious to see if Kelly and Michael do another show together.
If Michael does leave early, think we see some Regis guest spots?

Kelly is upset and perhaps rightfully so. She should have been told as this change does affect her. It was very inconsiderate and disrespectful of them to do this to her and Gelman. I'd be pissed as well.

The same thing happened to Kelly when Regis left. She was blindsided, that is why they have not spoken since he left. No wonder she is mad
