The facts are they blindsided her and didn't treat her with the respect she deserved and she's hurt. She's a human being and she has feelings and she has every right to feel the way that she does. She deserved better.

Addressing the “Live” staff, she said: “(Sorry for this late Friday night email). I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information. Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning. Love, Kelly.”

Your guess would be wrong. The article ends with this: Ms. Ripa will be off on Monday; she had previously scheduled a long weekend to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary.

The days she took off to process what had happened were Wednesday and Thursday. Her scheduled day off is Monday, that is why she is returning on Tuesday.

Ripa's absence came at the same time as a pre-planned 20th anniversary vacation with husband Mark Consuelos and the couple's children. Although their trip to Turks and Caicos was "long-planned," the host jetted off a few days early as she was only expected to miss Friday and Monday, but has been gone since Wednesday.

No dramamama she scheduled this coming Monday off in advance so that she could have a long weekend to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband Mark Consuelos.

I'm with Rips on this one. She was blindsided not once, but twice. They could have at least shown her the respect of informing her long before she went on air. She had every right to sit out last week. If I were here I'd be consulting with every lawyer in town to either get out of my contract or scare the pants off of ABC who seem to have no concern for the people that have made them lots of money.

Can't wait to see the ratings for Tuesday's show!
