NYC- Oh the Drama!

I was walking back from work in Midtown (on my way to Rent)and some police officers were throwing nets on innocent people.
I was almost hit with a net.
Thank god for my press pass or I might have missed Rent again.
It was really scary.

No, I am not an insensitive person. I really do care about the innocent people getting trapped by nets.

I have never seen anything like that here.
People were hit with nets for no reason. It was bizarre.
What is this city planet of the apes.
I was shaken. I said in my nicest voice (sort of like Glinda the good Excuse me Mr policeman. I have to be at a Broadway show and I would really appreciate it if you would let me go. He said may I see id, He APOLOGIZED TO ME.
I did nothing wrong but my heart was racing.
YEESH.
(It happened at 41st street between 6th and 7th Avenues at around 6:12 this evening.)
They cuffed a few people and had netting on a few more.
I got the hell out of there and made Rent.
I liked Rent!

Well I am glad I entertained you.
Rent entertained me. I can't believe it was my first time.
I love the music.
The guy who played Tom Collins had the best male voice.
And Frenchie Davis has one of the best voices I have ever heard in a Rock opera.

I had tickets one other time but I had bad food poisioning and could not get past the WC.
Tonight I almost missed Rent a second time. I think Angel was looking out for me(I had great seats row c Orchestra on tdf)
