So, I was on the hunt for pictures from the cast of Survivor: Palau (yeah, I admit it, that show is one of my guilty pleasure obsessions, along with The Amazing Race!) and I couldn't help searching to see if there were new Norbert pics.
And yes, there are! :) Film Magic has now included new pics from the Drama League Awards. Cute, cute, cute ones of the DRS gang: Norbert, Sherie and John. :) I love them. I think my favorite is the one where we see Norb accepting his award and you can see John smiling in the background.
Also, evidently the Tony nominees gathered today for a group picture. I've only seen a thumbnail so far (thanks to Wireimage) but as much as I love Norb and Sherie et. al, I didn't want to squint.
Watched Kevin Hill tonight. Idina guest starred again. And Patrick Breen, who plays Sarah's nanny, saw DRS back when it was in previews. I know, it's geeky, but I like all these theatre/friend connections to Norbert....

SP-What's happening? Did you forget your lucky charm? You better get in somehow tomorrow cuz I don't think you'll be able to handle being away for so long without saying goodbye to DRS, for the summer anyway.
Alejandra-I started watching KH last week for Idina, who looked fantastic, btw, but I was crying like a little baby. I kept telling myself "this isn't real, they're actors making me cry so they have bigger ratings. stop crying, you ninny!"
broadway betty: I totally cried at the end of Kevin Hill. I cry easily at TV, movies, books...etc. for some reason! LOL.

I just saw the pics from the group photo and they are precious! Norbert looks like freakin' James Bond in his shades, I love it! And just for fun, they took a group pic of all the nominees from Jersey, lol! I am so excited about the Tonys! Less than 3 weeks away!
Those pics are fabulous! Norbs with the shades is so great!
I think I traded my luck to keep the lottery going, on the days when they threatened to get rid of it, I went down and begged them not too, and said I would trade my wining for more people to show.
And they have.
I MUST see it again before leaving for the summer though!
SP-Even if you sit in the back you must see it again. Haha, you just don't want Dame Edna to call you a Mizzy. Always with the front orchestra, you are. Sit in the back with common folk. :)
Betty: I will be there by Saturday night even if I have to pay FULL PRICE!
*ahem* I've somehow managed to let this thread grow to huge sizes without once announcing, herein, my own wild raging manlove for Il Divo Norbert.
I wub Norbby.
Congrats on the admission, Bwaysinger!
Some of us (me) are too obsessed for words!
LOL! I don't know if I'm obsessed, but I certainly do wub him. I wub him wike Elmew Fudd.
i wasn't until I realized I was seeing DRS weekly. That can't all be Sherie.
LOL! No, she's cute...but if you don't swing that way, she can only keep your attention so long before you have to figure out which boy has captivated you.
I love the pics! :) broadway betty, was it strange for you to see pics of John Lithgow with Brian Stokes Mitchell? LOL.
I'm saving as many Norb/DRS pics as I can into a Photobucket account, so I'm in heaven now. LOL.
Judy, listening to Ruffhousin...(again)
bwaysinger-Shame on you for not expressing your wild raging manlove for Norbert sooner! But he's not available for any new manloving at the moment. He's in a commited relationship with John Lithgow. :)
SP-You better get in! Even if you have to get dressed like a little old lady and say that you're Freddy's bookie Grandma allaway from St.Louis and you walked for a month to get there so they'll let you in!
Alejandra-Hehe, they were putting on they're public faces, I know that Stokes was whispering in his ear "I'm coming for your dressing room. Watch out!" LOL, I feel silly today.
Stokes and the Jlith should have a showdown, winner gets to be the Norbert lover.
I lost again, I'm going to have to use that Grandma sthick on Saturday.
I need a photobucket of DRS related shots!
*bump*
I loved it when Norbert outed his and John's "relationship" on that Broadway.com DRS rehearsal clip. Too funny!

Guys, Norbert just won the 2005 TDF/Astaire Award for Best Male Dancer. Does anyone else think this is kinda funny? I love his dances in the show but I always think of this award to go to a serious "step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch...again" dancer. He's just racking them up, I love it!
I saw that! I think it's fantastic but I'm the same as you in thinking it normally goes to "A Chorus Line" style of dance/dancer. Hilarious! Yay for Norbs!
H.
I said it b4- Norb is gonna need a new shelf for all the awards!!!
(P.S.- I go away for 1 week & this thing grows by over 10 pages? wow folks GET a LIFE!!)
Oh, I posted 5 times in less than 10 minutes the other day. By mistake, of course, but still, it helped us get another page under our belts. LOL!
Congrats to Norb on yet another award! Hey, that rhymed...
A.
We have a life, it just involves going to try the DRS lottery every single day!
Hooray on the award! That Norb can dance!
I was actually at Star Wars and couldn't try to lottery yesterday, 5:45-8:15, exactly the worst time to be in a movie
I am about to hit the matinee lottery now though.

I'm back in Atlanta... I miss you guys!
My family saw DRS on Wednesday and howled! Even my mother loved it!
Norbert Leo Butz is my hero...
"IT WAS A BALL, IT WAS A BLAST, IT WAS A SHAME IT COULDN'T LAST!"
Oh yes, I got in! Yay for the Saturday matinee lottery!
I think this was honestly my favorite time seeing the show! "Great Big Stuff" had twice as much energy as ever before (yep twice a whole bunch is a whole hellovalot!)
"Ruprecht" had people screaming in the audience. There was an extra palpable energy around Norbert and John that was amazing, yet Greg and Johanna nearly stole the show, every entrance had people howling!
"Dirty Rotten Number" was a otal showstopper once again, not quite the 5 minutes of claps of my first time, but near it, with its own miny standing ovation.
Sherie and Sara were tremendous as well, the woman beside me was shocked when I told her neither Greg nor Sara got Tony noms, she had seen it all and thought they with Norbert were the best.
All in all a PERFECT last DRS before I leave for the summer.
Seriously it was the BEST performance I have seen out of Norbert and John!
Crysanthemum: I'll be in Atlanta tomorrow, driving through on my way to Columbus!
