The picture of the activist getting beaten after giving a press conference to explain why they were canceling their Pride march? "Oh, PyalJoey, are you surrrre it was Ukraine? Eet looks Photoshop. That you propose that people in the US can't complain about a NEW law in Russia that oppresses a segment of the culture because 150 years ago there was slavery in the US, shows that you are not in the least bit interested in a constructive discussion about how to change the world for the better NOW. You are a person, perhaps it is the broken and destroyed part of your character that seems to be in the DNA of every Russian, who just wants to tell others why their concerns don't matter and nothing can be done.

So the International Olympic Committee has issued a warning to Russia that it better not do anything to the athletes participating and be free of discrimination.

So let's just pretend like nothing is going on during the games - and then you can go back to hating gays and lesbians and beating them when we're gone. Kthanx byeee!
