It's a shame about what has happened to Belle and Rumple's relationship. It was unfortunate when that symbol of everything they shared, the chipped cup, was thrown across the room and broken.
A synopsis I read for that episode indicates that a case of mistaken identity causes the Giant to go after David -- methinks the backstory here will be including Charming's twin -- who, as I recall, wasn't so charming.
The writers have said in the past that they were not limiting themselves to fairy tales -- Neither Alice in Wonderland norPeter Pan are fairy tales, yet we have The Mad Hatter and Hook. There have been hints that other lands may be visited, i.e. Oz. It will be fun to see what's coming up!
Oh, and I agree -- Hook is VERY hot!!!

My boyfriend and I were watching the first season special features. There's a deleted scene where the Sheriff gets on his walkie-talkie and asks for "all available units". We had to pause because it both made us crack up laughing. What available units? Who's he talking to? The bunnies? He is the entire police force.
An interesting twist on the story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Charming's twin brother was a huge jerk. And I think next week it's pretty clear who Balefire is.
I thought the episode was kind of blah and was just a transition into Adventures in Babyfinding in New York. I just didn't care about the Giant story and was more interested in the other story.
And I liked how the promo said that the identity of that man would be "the biggest blockbuster yet" that pretty much every fan has figured out.
