I like how Mommy & Daddy Darling immediately trust the homeless boy enough to share a bedroom with their daughter.
Also, I never realized that Peter Pan was a.......demon?
Oh hell no, they did not make Peter Pan evil... Maybe just the shadow? Is Hook the good guy in Neverland?
And this show just hates Emma

I hope next week sets things straight about Peter Pan. I wasn't pleased at all with the whole "shadow who kidnaps children" storyline

This was the best episode in a long time. It was very well-written and had great acting. So, it appears that Neverland is actually a very sad place. I was surprised the children there cry about their parents because in all of the versions of 'Peter Pan' that I have seen, the Lost Boys never knew what a mother was until Wendy came along.
Maybe Emma and Archie should have a chicken pot pie at Granny's. She's running out of options.

i personally thought that was a fantastic episode!
some are suggesting the Home Office is headed up by the Darling family which I think is pretty cool
and that the shadow is a wraithe...
anyway... i'm digging it... this show has had it's ups and down but i'd say more ups then downs... i'm excited for the finale next week
^ HA!
I thought Demon Shadow Pan was the most daring choice the creators have made yet...considering how beloved the Disney version of Peter Pan is. I'll be very interested in seeing how it plays out. After all, Bey (Bay?) needs to travel several thousand miles and a hundred or so years to get to meeting Emma.
His name is spelled "Bae."
I got a bit emotional when Neil went through the portal. Hoping they find him next week.
I wonder if Regina really did kill Greg's dad.
I too also loved the fact that they made Peter a Shade of some sort, it kind of makes sense for this world. When Wendy said that he didn't her, he wanted boys...My jaw dropped.
I want to punt Tamara in the Cunt.
When Wendy said that he didn't want her, he wanted boys...My jaw dropped.
And he lives in Neverland... There's a Jacko joke somewhere in there
'I want to punt Tamara in the Cunt.'
RIGHT? And my white liberal guilt makes me angry at myself for feeling this way towards the only black character currently on the show.
When a show makes me want to stab Ethan Embry in the eye instead of make sweet nerd love to him, you know they are working my last nerve.
There was a little smile on my face when he was electrocuting Regina, though.
Wow, I am surprised that BWW just let me spell that word.
Anyways, I am really hoping that Neal is not dead and that they will find him.
GOD I HATE TAMARA! Which makes me mad because I love her on The Walking Dead.
Of course he's not dead. You didn't see him die, he's not dead. TV writing 101.

just to clarify only because there's so much hate for Tamara on all these websites I go to... is it Tamara the character or the portrayal of the character or what? I actually like Tamara and she makes a pretty good villain... and i have no problems with the acting or portrayal... i just don't get all the hate for her
and I like Ethan Embry... but dude needs to stop making his eyes so huge every other scene!
I LOVED THIS EPISODE. I've loved Peter Pan since I was a child. It was the first musical I ever saw. I love the changes they made and I'm super excited for next week. How will Bae get out of Neverland and how evil is Hook? He's always been on the fence with me, about if he's good or evil. I'm not surprised they changed up the Peter Pan story, as they've done it to every other story character.
I'm glad they've dropped off the Frankenstein stuff. I didn't really get the inclusion.
I find this part of the press release from ABC interesting: "Meanwhile, back in Neverland of the past, Hook discovers his connection to a young Bae after he rescues him from the sea and soon realizes that the Lost Boys are in hot pursuit of the boy..." Considering that Hook loved Milah, Bae's mother, maybe he'll be protecting the boy from Lost Boys? Also I'm wondering if perhaps that "shade" wasn't Peter, but one of the lost boys?
And Straight On Till Morning ABC PRess Release
Count me in as super excited for this dark twist on Peter Pan. I think it's way more fun to have a little subversion of these well-known tales. Bae totally can't be dead, either; he's just in a different land! That's what the magic beans do!
But where did he end up? Back in the Forest or London or Neverland? Or someplace new?
Put me in the camp that thinks Hook with realize who Bae is, sooner rather than later.
