Abby likes to think she is the smartest person in the room. After all, she watches Fox News,reads Newsbusters, Drudge Report, Washington Times, World Net Daily, and Brietbart.

Not only is she wrong on EVERYTHING but she actually thinks she is convincing people she is right.Typical Republican. Clueless,just as they were on Election night. They bought the lies for months and when the American people spoke they were in a state of shock. Why? Because they believed the liars who told them what they wanted to know. If the truth did not fit their agenda then it was the liberal media being bias.

Bitch? really jungle red? You've really stooped to new lows haha, but do you not realize it's not the CEO's who are paying for the insurance, it's the franchise owners who don't all have thousands of dollars laying around to pay for their workers insurance. Sure some of them do, but not all of them. If you knew anything about anything you would know that.

And yet it's Papa whose bitching about having to raise prices, all to save himself some money. He's not in this for the franchisee, he's in it for himself. As I've said, People who have one franchise I can almost guarantee they have under 50 employees, let alone 50 FULL TIME employees so they don't have to get insurance, even though they should. Franchisees who are part of a BIG franchise like Papa Johns, McDonald's, etc. you absolutely can afford insurance. Hell many people who own several and just getting INVOLVED in these is in the millions of dollars. This is NOT their main income. This is a project for them.

Also, Having talked to a manager at work today, whose been worked in many franchises for years. Having personal friends who own franchises. He said that there is NO REASON why somebody who owns 6 Franchise Restaurants should ever be working a second job because they need to. Franchises are doled out with a matter of success. If you're first one is in the ****ter, they're not going to lease you another one. You don't build up 6 Franchises without some incredible successes with the stores you have.

What reason would they have to lie to me or my parents? They're conservative and hard workers and I have absolutely no reason to doubt them. I'm sorry you can't believe that people are going to be hurt by obama's policies, but they are, why do you think so many businesses across the country are going under? So if anyone should STFU it's you since you seem to know absolutely nothing.

Another family, who are very good family friends and have been for 10+ years, built up a business from nothing and now it's worth millions, have told us first hand how obama's policies are going to hurt them and their business. These are not stupid people, they are some of the most intelligent and educated people I know, more educated than most of you, with professional degrees from Ivy League schools.

And fingerlakes, you are the stupid one, you think you know everything because you talked to one person who owns a franchise, you choose to only believe what he tells you because it fits your views, not what thousands of other franchise and small business owners are saying by having to fire people or cut their hours. You choose to believe only what you want to and nothing else. I'm sorry I'm older and actually have a real degree, but a theater degree and talking to one person who owns a business doesn't make you an expert in business. Now I'm no business expert either, but I seem to know a little more than you just by surrounding myself with bright, educated people.

I don't get what you having a "real" degree has anything to do with it. I'm currently in college, and if I tried your method of arguing in any of my classes, the professors would laugh me out the door. Your arguments are based on personal anecdotes from family friends, not facts - pretty sure we were taught freshman year at my college never to use personal stories as evidence in any argument.

If my examples are the first you've heard of small businesses/franchises having a hard time under obama you clearly don't get out much, or don't know how to read, or maybe a little bit of both. I have to ask, where the hell are these Papa Johns? Because for the number 3 pizza chain in the world I find it very hard to believe someone who owns 6 and they all suck so bad that they have to resort to a second job. You know what happens, when your franchise isn't supporting you anymore, you sell it. Most of the time the corporation would even buy it back. This is a corporation who gives away 2 Million pizzas a year, and not even for a good cause but for Football. If that's not frivolous, I don't know what it is. Another funny thing, prices were raised TWO weeks before the election.

Papa makes $110 MILLION PROFIT PER QUARTER and he's making an outrage over health insurance. That's what pieces of s**t do. He can't bite the bullet and spend a fraction of his quarterly profits for franchises that don't bring in quite enough to pay for their own. According to the interwebs, bitch, there are 27 Papa Johns locations in Oregon. BECAUSE YOU SAID SO your "family friend" owns six of them. If your family friend owns six out of TWENTY SEVEN, that means he owns 22% (give or take) of Papa Johns in the state. I find it very fortunate for you that your friend owns six of the 27 Papa Johns in the state because it just happens to fit your biased opinion on the matter.

I guess I've stooped to a new low when calling you a bitch because you're some 20 something know it all when you don't know a damn thing. If we're only using anecdotes, I know multiple small business owners who are thriving. They're thriving because they know how to run a business. They treat their employees and their customers well. None of my small business owner friends are closing up shop. None of them are laying off employees. None of them are blaming Obama for their hardships, if any. I work for a small business and we just hired someone. My boyfriend also works for a small business (www.pridecatalog.com) and he hasn't been threatened with a layoff. Granted, there are only six people working there.

Your point is moot. Your "I know people" story doesn't wash. And yes, you're still a bitch. Report me. I don't care.

I don't care" but I never said anything about reporting him. I have no intent to, it's just childish and stupid like all of you. Um, what you are doing is in violation of BWW.Having multiple accounts is a no no. Some of us have to follow rules in life and if you are gonna troll around here then I am gonna give the mods a simple heads up. What they do is up to them. I have no control of what they do.However, if they delete your account then you must have done something they object to. First of all, iliveintherealworld isn't me, he stated in the beginning of this thread he's an obama supporter, even if I did make another account, which I have never done except for the sfgiantsfan one last month, and from the beginning I said I was abbynormal, but I would never say I'm an obama supporter just to try to trick you into thinking I'm someone else. You can think that all you want, but it's not true. iliveintherealworld seems to know a heck of a lot more about big businesses than I do or than any of you do. I was just reading through that thread because it's hilarious reading it as a third party and seeing how much time you people spend arguing over multiple accounts instead of arguing about what the actual thread is about. The reason people argue about the multiple accounts vs. the content of the actual thread is simple. When someone joins that day and asks such a divisive question or goes out of their way to be confrontational,it usually means they are a troll.Most posters do not want to waste their time and give an answer if they know this troll will never be satisfied with the answer they give.

Yeah, nothing to do with the fact people prefer to eat actual food or anything or go to local restaurants or local franchises (there are some good Indian, Mexican, and Thai franchises around my area alone) that have comparable prices. If people are not going to franchises as often because they are putting that money into their own grocery shopping budget or choosing not to go a certain franchise because of how unhealthy the food is, then snaps to them.
