I do believe Abby is Mikey. The antidotes are way too nostalgic for a 22 year old.

"Abby" is as much a 22-year-old girl as I am.

"Caleb Melby of Forbes has graciously done the math on Obamacare’s cost to Papa John’s and according to his analysis, to cover the cost of Obamacare, the pizza chain would have to raise prices by 3.4 to 4.6 cents per pie -- way less than the 11 to 14 cents Schnatter claims he needs."
So, how does this work into Abby's plan? Doesn't seem Papa Johns knows anything about basic math

It's like when you live on an upper floor of an apartment building but you somehow get rats anyway.

To be fair Mexicans and Latinos in general are everywhere, not just around southern border states to Mexico. But I tried to look up whatever trends of gang violence are in Oregon in general. Yes, it exists like in any other city but suddenly it is made to be South Central LA by some residents. And it was HARD to find a single legitimate publication uncovering gang violence in Oregon. Yes, there was an instance of a couple getting shot by gang members but Abby's school seems like an overreaction. Schools ban stuff 'gang-related', all the time. Baseball caps, colors, hoodies, bandanas, etc.
My high school is in a place that likes to present itself as a 'town with the lowest crime-rate in America' (in truth all of the 'crimes' are blamed on the adjacent, 'urban', bigger city nearby) and they still banned clothing items that were gang-related when the HS itself was one of the most racially homogenous high schools in the area. It was just a reactionary decision driven by suburban white panic.

This Denny's douchenozzle is just as bad.
"If I leave the prices the same, but say on the menu that there is a 5 percent surcharge for Obamacare, customers have two choices. They can either pay it and tip 15 or 20 percent, or if they really feel so inclined, they can reduce the amount of tip they give to the server, who is the primary beneficiary of Obamacare," Metz told The Huffington Post. "Although it may sound terrible that I'm doing this, it's the only alternative. I've got to pass the cost on to the consumer."

Hey Metz, how's about we just stop eating at Dennys? Saves you a lot of moral struggle, doesn't it?

Jesus Christ! Why are these crybabies bitching so much about providing benefits to their employees?! They obviously aren't paying them enough for them to pay for their own.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

These CEO's are trying to make a point. That's all this is.They are greedy and heartless. Look how they live.Papa John's made 44 million from January to September of 2012 and these CEO's want you to believe that they are the victims here.Their God is money and Capitalism. When they die and realize they can't take the money with them I hope karma bites back hard.

^ But the optics of this are INSANE. Yes...there will be certain (dying) set that will eat this SH*T up.
But...in the end...these people are really bitching and moaning about providing working people with access to healthcare. That just looks AWFUL. And in a time where people are more receptive to Obamacare (look at the recent numbers), it's utter insanity to behave like ill-mannered children.

Watch the fine print of these: The Denny's CEO is saying that the cost to each FRANCHISE is greater than an individual franchise's annual profit.
So each year each individual franchise owner has to work harder, pay the staff more, pay more for food and restaurant supplies--and employee health care--while Denny's as a corporation makes millions and millions in profits, without any rising costs.
If these fast-food CEOs don't watch out, the issue will become whether the take they get is equitable.

I'm sure someone is already organizing an "Eat at Denny's and Don't Tip Your Server" Day to protest socialism.

There was a Denny's built across from my college. The patrons I knew who went were never sober.

OK I know I said I left....but....
It is so absurd to me that right-wing America can say "sacrifices must be made" when they are unwilling to even CONSIDER returning to tax rates that they paid 15 years ago. Corporations making (in Papa Johns case) $110 million in profits can't afford to offer medical insurance but expect employees making $250 a week to tighten their belts and make the sacrifice.
