I liked Daniel the best too. He's definitely my favorite so far.
I don't like the designers as much as I did last season, but it's still early I guess.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 1:37amI agree that Mr. Licious needs to go soon (to keep me from having to look at him, if for no other reason), but ugly though his... thing was, it did at least have some point of view and showed some effort put into it, and aside from the wonky shoulders, it did at least fit his model. The guy who left, whose name I don't even remember because he was so boring, made a poorly fitted mammogram gown over a half-assed paper wrap. It looked like a bad bridal shower game on crack. No point of view, little obvious work, and no tangible results. Check minus.

I thought for sure the garbage bag lady was going home. The guy who was eliminated was horrible, but at least he looked like he put more effort into it. If he got another chance, he'd probably do a better job. Garbage bag lady on the other hand, will be Auf Wiedersehen-ed pretty soon, I can tell.
My favorite was probably the yellow dress with the tomatoes.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 1:39amI liked it before he tried to put the under garment in. I dunno, maybe because skin-cancer boy gives me the creeps... Reminded me of an even more delusional Vincent.

I liked the tomato one too, newyork.
The trash bag lady should have went without question. She better step it up next episode or she will be "auft" for sure.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:17amWhy is Project Runway moving to Lifetime? It's the HOTTEST show that Bravo has going for it!

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:23amThe Weinsteins are mercenary and Lifetime offered them more $$$ per episode. Money makes the world go around.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:29amBut the thing at least about Miss SweetPea meets Kit 'Pistol' is that her dress reflected her style! I could have sworn I saw some pleats and that look at least says something about her as a designer, even if it includes her being lazy (but hey, wasn't Jillian?) I did not see any character, style, or wise decisions behind the man who went home at all. It was bland, shapeless, blank, and says nothing about him as a designer. The right choice was made methinks.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:42amThe tan boy needs to stop tanning because tanning causes premature aging. At only 23, when he smiled he had a face full of crows feet!

I like Keith. He's dreamy.
Aesthetically, I'm still hung up about who I like.
#61re: Project Runway 5
Posted: 7/17/08 at 7:28amI wonder if Christian will be a guest judge this season.

*SPOILERS (IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH)*
Stella deserved to go home last night. Jerry's dress was god-awful ugly, but at least he made a new outfit out of the materials. Stella's outfit was a garbage bag plain and simple. Kelli's garment was the best--absolutely stunning, and it looked both expensive and intricate. I also loved Terri's top (made from the mopheads) and Daniel's dress.
According to Wikipedia, this season's guest judges include Natalie Portman (next week), Brooke Shields, RuPaul, Sandra Bernhard and Cynthia Rowley, among others. No Christian.

Scott (I know that's not your real name...LOL) I am LMAO at your description of Jerry's outfit as a mammogram gown.
Jess, I love your avi....Adventures In Babysitting is one of my favorites!
I thought the bottom 3 were spot on, but I wouldn't have minded the garbage lady leaving either. And yes, the dude with the tan is gross.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 11:13amI think Stella should have been auf'd for that awful trash bag dress. She should have at least bought hefty bags to make sure the dress was sturdy! I am not crazy about Jerrell's attitude. Blayne's dress made me think of the winner from season 3 (Forget his name) I want them to keep Daniel, Keith and Wesley....just so I can look at them every week!

I already decided I'll be rooting for Kelli this season. Loved her.
Oof, read the blog on the site of the guy who got Auf'd though. What an ego!!!!

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:01pmI haven't read it, but just based on the "confessional" interviews I expected something just amazing from him. Then I saw the horror story nurse/shower curtain thing...

Wouldn't you think, that with a budget of $75.00 that the "bag lady" would have brought something other than just a couple of boxes of garbage bags? That was just plain dumb...spend all your money...and give yourself some options.
I personally would have latched on to every kitchen sponge I could find.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 2:17pmSay what you will about Jerry's comments--and I do agree that he comes off as arrogant--his remarks about Stella's garment and attitude are spot-on.

Posted: 7/17/08 at 5:21pmthe person who won the competition for the 1st episode deserved it. i LOVED that dress and couldnt stop looking at it. i felt that the cup dress deserved more attention than it got, though. they basically made him feel like it could've been lumped in with the bottom 3 (if he wasn't smart).
#73re: Project Runway 5
Posted: 7/17/08 at 5:23pmI kinda liked the top made out of mops as well.
#74re: Project Runway 5
Posted: 7/17/08 at 5:39pmI watched last night as well. I loved the dress made out of the plastic cups. That was awesome. I almost had a heart attack though when they made him stay on stage to talk about his outfit because I automatically thought it meant the judges hated it. But then I realized that they take the bottom 3 and top 3 and talk to them. I have a feeling since the garbage bag lady did not go home this week, she'll be gone next. Well, only if she keeps making trash like that. (No pun intended. LOL!)
