Korto should not have come on the show if she was going to cry over the judges...umm JUDGING her work.
Leanne's model really threw her under the bus. The dress wasn't good, but man. I wouldn't be choosing her as my model next challenge.
I thought Terri's dress was deserving of a top 3 spot. More so than Stella.
LOL to "Letha"
Kelli and Suede definitely deserved winning those first two challenges.
And I think Jerell is pretty creative.

I was actually sort of glad to see Wesley go. He's sort of cute, but his ego was annoying. I guess his "signature" was...wearing shorts? Meh.
I loved Suede's dress, but when is he going to drop that ridiculous name and stop speaking in third person? For that alone, he should be eKluminated.
Love smoky eyes on Portman, just not those smoky eyes. It looks like she tried to teach herself how to do it 5 minutes before she walked out on set.

I've completely lost interest in this season. No eyecandy at all. And that Suede creature, the Thing With The Tan, and Heidi's pop-eyed stare, feh.
I was over it when that Jeffrey creep won for being in recovery. At least last year there was the divine gorgeousness of Rami. Now there isn't even that.
I won't bother watching any more.
#104re: Project Runway 5
Posted: 7/25/08 at 4:12pmI wasn't crazy about any of the dresses last night, but I would have picked Kenley to win.

There's seems to be a lot of Cry-Babies this season! Is it just me or almost everyone is crying after last week's elimination?
I really dislike that black trash bag outfit last week~whoever did that! they should have eliminate two contestant like week- the asian guy and that horrendous trash bag outfit!

I'm loving this season to bits. There are some great talents. Though, some of the contestants look like each other, so I'm having a hard time learning names and such.
The cute little guy (who I wanted to keep in my pocket he was so adorable) with the shorts, kicked off last week, was stuck with a bad fabric. I thought the other girl, sorry again, not knowing names, that was in the bottom with him, who had the same fabric, made a far wrose dress.

That was Wesley. But he got Daniel! I haven't read this entire thread yet, but I am sure it has been mentioned that Wesley and Daniel are dating.
I knew Emily was gone right after she decided not to listen to Tim.

Posted: 7/30/08 at 10:01pmI have to admit that I have a total girl-crush on Kenley. I love how she's a throwback to '40s-'50s pin-up girls and Bettie Page.

*SPOILER*
I thought the top 3 were very strong tonight, and definitely thought Kenley deserved to win. And I agree with the decision to send Emily home, her dress was not attractive.

*SPOILERS*
The top three tonight confused me. I mean, I did like all three outfits, but this was actually the first episode so far I've thought Terri SHOULDN'T be in the top tier. And though I liked Kenley's dress a lot (and, well, I have kind of a girlcrush on her, so I'll never begrudge her the win), Leanne's was just so polished and such a great look that I really thought she deserved this one.
As for the bottom, I think it was really telling when it came down to Jennifer and Emily and I realized that... I really didn't care which of them went home. However, I definitely won't be sorry to not see Emily's bangs every week.

Daniel and Wesley dating? Um, yum!
Found this on them, with a pic.

SPOIILER
I think Kenley's won over Leanne's because although Leanne's was exquisite and classy, Kenley's was more happening, more au courant. That's all I can think of.
You could see by the expression on Leanne's face when they announced Kenley as the winner, that she expected to win.

Here is a link to a video interview with Wesley confirming that the two of them are dating. Scroll down a bit past the article and the New York Post video is there.

That's cute that they're dating. If I was on the show, I'd go out with Keith.. Go out, jump.. It don't matter.
I thought Leanne was going to win. That skirt was awesome. I can see why Kenley won though. I wasn't crazy about the color on the print, but the silhouette was very nice. She has good taste.

Posted: 7/31/08 at 6:18amLast night was the first night I realized that Jennifer and Leann were two different people. Jennifer should have gone home last night.

I was getting those 2 confused as well.
I know I'm in the minority but I didn't like Kenley's dress at all. And I really didn't get how it had anything to do with her original picture.
I thought Leanne should have won. And I didn't care out of the bottom 2 who went. I thought both dresses were hideous.

StockardFan I COMPLETELY agree with everything you just said. Those were my exact thoughts while watching.
If they would have had to show the judges the pictures for their inspiration, I don't think they would have praised Kenly so much. I DO like her and her designs, but I actually thought last night that her dress deserved to be in the bottom 3 not the top 3. And to win on top of it??? It didn't make sense. The other 2 top 3 outfits were so much nicer.
I didn't care who went home in the bottom two because both dresses were a mess.
Leann really stepped it up last night and listened to the judges' advice from last week. Good for her.
Terri is awesome because she really knows how to design for the every-day woman.

Posted: 7/31/08 at 9:48amI was so happy Sandy B. was a guest judge and got to throw in that the one design looked "fierce" and that the model looked like she "would cut someone." Gotta love Sandy. Sandy's face looked a little different and a little puffy. I think she just had a peel or something.
