Project Runway, anyone?

She still DESIGNED the jacket. I guess I just see it as more of a styling thing, and again...she didn't STEAL an idea, it was given to her, and she tried it.

(I didn't actually love it either way. I would have personally picked Jeffrey, even though I loathe him.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Interestingly, Melisa still has time-mngt issues; Elena's still a powder keg; Christopher still ain't feeling Elena; Mychael (formerly Michael)'s still putting out urban hooker couture, and Jeffrey's still got that weird looking neck with a little less confidence. I missed a couple of seasons so I'm not familiar with the others.

To me, Seth Aaron and Jeff nailed the challenge. Elena's punk creation looked like an 80s cliché that crawled out of Madonna's attic. I'm glad she finally won a challenge though.

I don't remember Korto; she seems a bit bossy.

So was just realizing some of the biggest b!tches in Project Runway are Russian… Sandro, Irina, Elena. Coincidence? Just saying.

Elena is from Ukraine. She made it very clear on her first season that she is not Russian (unlike Victor, who won that season).

(There are millions of ethnic Russians living in Ukraine and the other former Soviet republics, but Elena does not appear to be among them.)

Am I the only one on here who stuck it out PR All Stars till the end?

I would have been happy with either #1 or #2 winning. Overall, both put together exciting and somewhat cohesive collections as well as sending out one dud apiece. I tend to agree w/ Seth Aaron's suggestion that Elena would benefit from expanding her palette a bit. In the finale, she came off as a one-note and the silhouette cut a "boxy" figure on a few of her models.

That aside, it was one boring season of PR All-Stars. If the producers don't some drastic changes to the format (and presenter), I doubt that I'll check back in next season. Alyssa's a sweetie but her clothes were almost always ill-fitting and she just doesn't have the je ne sais quoi to host that particular show. I miss my supermodel-turned-hosts.

I stuck it out, too. I was fine with the win, but would have liked to have seen Christopher Palu in the finale. Not in love with the hosts. The show is suffering without the magic trifecta that is Michael, Nina and Heidi.

Tim was on Colbert Report this week. He said that he was not on PR this time because he'd made a pinky deal with Heidi that if she were unavailable to do a season, he wouldn't do it either. When the network set up the last season, they didn't consult Heidi and were surprised when they found out, at the last minute, that she wasn't available. They told Tim they would go on with another host. He told them they needed to find two. Then he picked up his new show.

Were Tim's comments in reference to an upcoming season of the original show, because neither he nor Heidi have been involved in either of the previous two All-Stars seasons so I was not surprised to have them be absent from this round of All-Stars either.

possibly. I think he was responding to a comment by Colbert that he wasn't on PR "this season" whatever that means. Maybe I can find a clip.
