Even though I don't condone her behavior, it was time for Timothy to go. I realize that she was the catalyst, but he got incredibly annoying this episode. He's also been in the bottom three every week, he's just a mess. Miranda will get hers, she has no shot of winning and I can't see her lasting much longer.

I did not like how Timothy was treated tonight, but he was not a strong designer. He needed to go (and work on his craft)!

Yes, Miranda was horrible....but a number of them totally encouraged her. Shame on them all. I do believe her apology, however -- but don't blame Timothy for making it hard on her. (Except in front of the judges.) The funny thing is: she was TRYING to take credit for the monstrosity, and he argued with her -- it was just odd.
But, oh, Sondra (sp?) was a disaster as well. What a nasty misogynst.

I loved the top two also but I detested Miranda's behavior. I don't care who it was directed towards, she should be ashamed of herself and she just might be. Did you hear when she said she was going to need therapy after this? She's damn right.

I think she was indeed embarrassed by her behavior. The apology she gave to him the next day, was pretty painful to watch, because she was truly aghast at her own behavior.
While I thought their dress was boring, I didn't think it was worse than the other low scored desgin. That was just tacky.

I just hope she's next. But they may be keeping her on for drama.
p.s. I didn't mind their dress at all. I thought it was cute, and the jacket he made was pretty good. the guy isn't totally without talent. The other dress was a tragedy. I think they just wanted to get rid of Timothy.

I'm so glad Timothy is gone. What an irritating human. I don't think he knew what he stood for. That whole, tear filled speech about still believing in unicorns made me want to put my foot through the TV and scream, GROW UP!
Miranda was a trip to watch. At the top of the Isolde, she's saying how much she can't stand Timothy, yet she had her arm wrapped around him. She was being fake and it didn't last. And they kind of looked like brother and sister to me....
Sandro... He's a pig. His clothes and taste are all from the 1980s. As is his treatment of women as well.

OMG YES!
Okay first, Timothy is not a very good designer and he clearly hasn't matured into himself yet to form this POV and execute it. However, he absolutely did NOT deserve that treatment from Hipstress McBangs. She was just cruel AND she did nothing to improve their design. A zero value-add individual. I felt so bad for Timothy and I hated that he had to go out this way. I just wanted to give him a big hug. And perhaps a little advice.
Secondly, once again, I did not think it was the worst dress. I thought the other was much more of an eyesore. The taste level was atrocious. And I liked the hat dress, but I would have given the monster dress the win. It's rare you see something that whimsical on this show designed and executed so perfectly. It could have gone costume or junior so easily, but the team had the sophisticated eye and the gutsy determination to push their vision and it was joyous. The hat dress was very pretty and very well made. But if it wasn't all red, I think Jeremy/Ken could have pulled the rug out from under them. Their design...with those blue pants...was screaming hot.
Sandro just seems like a messy mean drunk all the time. He is just gross. His behavior plus his taste level will be his demise.

I thought the same thing, but even up close, the judges seemed to rave over it. If you look at the hat dress on the website (which includes a magnifier), the edges of the hat material are iffy, the gap between the top and skirt is awkward, and the back is a mess.
Looking at all the looks again, I really don't see how Alexander and Justin escaped with that thing. And I really wanted Bradon and Karen to get called out for the tumor they placed on the model's shoulder. I even think Sandro and Sue had a worse creation than Timothy and Hipstress McBangs.

Yes, I also hated the algae dress and the one you are asking about with the one giant shoulder.
Or that hideous thing with the cloud/cotton ball shoulder. That looked like a costume some mom made for their child to play "Spring" in the school pageant.
