Eureka and A'keria should have been swapped. A'keria had a stronger performance and such a stunning runway. Eureka's performance was fine, and the runway wasn't as flattering.
Ginger was such a weird choice as Fergie! Like, Shania would have been a better choice from a halftime show performer.

Yes! It did! Had a good friend in it. Apparently they were trying to find new backers so did a week of shows just in the rehearsal room. And they were hilarious! The show was a non-union tour so it was fine. But they were really hilarious.
but for some reason she just doesn’t shine on the show

Ginger was great in the lip-sync. Was nice to see Bianca make an appearance.
If I had my choice Jan would have been the eliminated queen. Even when she got emotional I felt it was over acted.

It was Jan's time to go, not sure why Ginger chose as she did. I'm also confused as to why Ginger won the challenge. Felt pretty safe to me, I would have went with A'keria or Ra'Jah.

That challenge was WEIRD. Jan was right with the “this is what the judges want” statement she made. Just an odd choice to have them all sit around and talk about their lives and then get judged on it.

I agree. I think a challenge like this has potential but when they start hitting the "be yourself....but not" critiques, it quickly becomes an eye roll. I think it was Jan's time to go but I do feel for her because being told you're "110% for 100% time" is not useful or helpful.

I agree! The challenge was weird. But also kinda interesting. Ginger and Jane are clearly friends so I’d never guess Ginger to send her home.
*Also to clarify, I saw a backer’s audition of Xanadu! The show was fine - a normal non-equity sorta performance - but Jinx and Ginger were so good.
Also Ginger’s lip sync was so great! I can’t believe I didn’t know that song!
Bianca was random. But I love Bianca. Maybe they’re grooming her as a replacement host?

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills whenever people express confusion over what they’re asking Jan to do. They’re OBVIOUSLY not asking her to be the most human human that has ever human’d, but the shtick she’s pushing is just false and over-the-top. You can tell how hard she’s pushing it because any time she’s confronted with hard emotion - like revealing she picked A’keria’s lipstick or facing the reality of being voted out - she almost starts to shake like she’s an overheating robot. Ru said Scarlet being performative made her uncomfortable, but honestly, Jan is the one who’s almost unnervingly artificial. She needs to just… stop being such a try-hard. It’s big “musical theatre chorus kid” energy, and it’s off-putting. To me. For me. Personally.
All that being said, while Ginger’s lip sync was delightful, that win belonged firmly in the hands of Trinity, A’keria, or Eureka. They had the best group AND the best runways. If they absolutely had to pick a winner from another group, Ra’jah was standing right there looking just as good.

I mean if they probably had to give it to Ginger this week, because this the only runway category her where her look could warrant a win.
I think Jan just has some growing up to do, I wish they had given her another year before bringing her back. Of course maybe this week breaks her and she goes full villain.

This. My husband keeps insisting she’s the villain but she’s not at all villainous. She’s just a young queen with a very specific life experience and view of her character.
I think the key is that Jan seems to think she’s only herself when she’s at her very best, but we are also who we are when we’re not at our best. I wish she would embrace more messiness instead of pretending to be so put-together all the time.

That's why I think she won the Super Bowl challenge. Capturing Gaga's wild, frenetic dance style must have been very difficult for someone like Jan, who always wants to do the steps perfectly. She and Trinity were both sensational, but I thought Jan had the more daunting task.

Each passing week I feel more and more like I'm watching a scripted show. The producers' strings are nearly visible now. "You are the winning team...but the winner is this random person." Why? Because you want to throw Ginger a win and give her $30k.
The challenge itself was baffling too. Is this supposed to be serious? Funny? Played straight? These are drag queens are you're dinging them for mugging and having a schtick. I knew that after Jan's win last week the end was nigh so I'm kind of shocked she wasn't eliminated.

Jan’s rationale for picking the lipstick was the most revealing thing we’ve seen from her in two seasons. She’s somebody who wants to give people what she thinks they want and make no waves. There’s no risk, there’s no vulnerability. Even though she is talented and supremely capable, she’s allowed herself to become pretty bland as a personality.
Although I know little about Jan- we certainly haven’t much illumination about her life- it’s not hard for me to assume she’s come from a pretty privileged background and has suffered little adversity in her life. It seems like Drag Race was the first time in her life she’s actually struggled and not immediately been showered with praise.

Watching Untucked it was 4 for Scarlet 3 for Jan. They don't show how Scarlet voted so I assume Jan which would have made it a tie at 4 each. And if you add Ginger it would be 5 for Scarlet.
