re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Meh. Fine. I would have been happy either way with Jason or Phillip. Not surprised they're putting him on tour.

He spoke very well, but the choice was right. I just hope Jason does a lot of shirtless dancing next week for his grand finale.

Yes, please. I think we're pretty assured that Jason will be gone next week so he might as well display his assets.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

It's sad to see them go, but it was their time.

So, what was your guy's opinion on the solos? I thought Ade was brilliant... and I personally found Melissa to be weak. Phillips was also good, but I always love seeing him do a solo.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

I knew Caitlin would be going...however I think she might have more to give than Randi as a female dancer. Still, Randi has never been in the bottom 3 and even though she should have been this week, Caitlin still would probably be going home.

I was a bit suprised with the Philip decision because Nigel keeps on talking about how popular he is, so I would have thought they would have let him through so he could be on the tour...I guess they found a way out of that situation.

However, I wonder if these two will be "real" performers or the swing dancers (which can be a confusing term because it makes me think of the style of dance!). I would think being that Nigel said that he talked it over with the producers it would mean that they are going to be actual members of the tour.

Whatever the case is, Caitlin got lucky because she is riding on Philip's coat tail...they wouldn't be giving her that chance had it been any other guy.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

They might not have made as big of a deal of it if Philip wasnt' leaving. As Nigel said earlier....they have always taken more than 10 on tour as swings. They just have confirmation of it publicallly.

BTW...the schedule of the tour is up on thier website already. Starts in September in New England.

Ade's solo was perfection, brilliant. Bravo. Oh and Wade is HOT!

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Sorry, I just caught up on my SYTYCD viewing. I agree with the consensus that it was time for Phillip and Caitlin to go.

I'll be sorry to see Jason (and his torso) go, but I do think he might be next. I have no clue on which girl is going to go. They all seem to be strong.

Loved the Mia Michael's Addiction and Wade Robson's Jazz routine. I have to say that Brandon and Janette have not had a bad performance yet, and most have been excellent (hip-hop, ballroom, jazz...), they seem to be able to do it all.

Looking forward to them mixing it up next week.

I'm not convinced Jason will be going home before Evan. Personally, I've found Evan to be more disappointing thus far.

Mister Matt, having seen now both of them do their couples routines tonight, I'm inclined to agree with you. The Travis Wall routine was GREAT.

Mister Matt, I was going strictly by fan base, but I think Jason just saved himself. That was gorgeous. Buh-bye, Evan.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

As much as I love Evan, Jason just stole his thunder. I've been hoping that Jason would stay long enough to have an adequate partner. Caitlin held him down. Both him and Janine danced that flawlessly.

I don't quite know what that dance was, but yay new recording.

Travis' piece was incredible.

That was the first time I've ever enjoyed one of Tyce's Broadway routines. Very well done.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

I think it was more due to Melissa and Ade. The choreography has no story.

I'm going to hope it's Kupono going home tomorrow and not Evan.

Melissa and Brandon!

Awww, but I love Kupono too! Wouldn't be surprised if he went home, though. His solo wasn't super attention grabbing.

Haha, sorry, old habits die hard. I was so in love with that pairing that I think I hallucinated it.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

I know, they were so good together - easily the most physically strong, which made everything look effortless. Also, Ade's solo was so....UGHHHH (in a good way!). I could watch him dance forever. His musicality is unmatched in this competition, i think.

Henry wants me to vote for Brandon and Melissa. I never vote on this show though. I'm a bad fan.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

I adore this show, and I have never once picked up the phone to vote.

I dont think I've ever voted for on a tv show.

re: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Personally- I didn't think Kupono's solo had much difficulty. Also thought some of the male solos were a bit too over-choreographed. I've been a Janine fan and was glad to see her do so well tonight! I loved Evan's solo but he really stuck out sorely on the African piece. It's like all the guys went from white to light brown to medium brown to dark. At this point- they are all good dancers so I probably won't be disappointed in whomever goes home.
