When I got out of college, I was fat and no muscle tone. Four years of college food and college drinking. A couple of years later I was working in an office where the older women were always bringing in food and desserts. I was 25 years old had developed an ulcer and was a mess
I decided I had to join a gym and change my eating habits. I went to the gym and the first go around I couldn't do five situps. Afterwards I went over to my aunt's and she had big bowl of Brach's Chocolate Stars, I wanted one and was looking, looking at them and didnt' take one.
The two trainers and the gym Paul and Vinny stuck with me and I began to get stronger and became a bit of a gym rat. I didn't go crazy with diet Instead of a cheeseburger, I had a hamburger. Instead of the bun, I had it without. Switch tuna in oil to tuna in water. Instead of mayo; lemom juice and an onion.
I stuck with it and almost 25 years later, I'm better shape approaching 50 than I was at 25. Eat well and workout 3-4 days.
HOWEVER. I'm not tall which is the worse thing a man can be in our society.
One day I decided to extra stomach work and the guy on the radio asked a woman "Would rather go out with a great looking short guy or a plain looking tall guy?" "Definately the tall guy." I skipped the crunches.
'Take me out tonight where's there's music and there's people and they're young and alive.'
