My thoughts from tonight:
I LOVE Mia Michaels's choreography, including tonight's opening number, but, tonight, I did not love Mia Michaels. She started off well, telling Natalie that she needs to trust herself and not try so hard. However, with her comments to Heidi she went into brutal territory and remained there. I realize that she is only being honest, but that honesty can be off-putting for the viewing audience unaccustomed to the dance world. It is very obvious who Mia wants in her show--Travis--and I think she was using her voice as the choreographer of the show in which the winner will appear to influence the outcome.
Tonight, Travis reminded me why I don't like him. From the first show, I have found him rather cocky. That was never more apparent then tonight.
I am not surprised at who was dismissed, though I think it could have gone either way between Natalie and Donyelle.
I think Benji will win, but I hope Heidi gives him a run for his money.

For to be hopeless would seem so strange.
It dishonors those who go before us,
So lift me up to the light of change."
