I tried to do the same. Once they hit 21 in that last set I was devastated that they would not get any more points. I wanted the outcome to be different... especially when they jumped ahead in the first set!

I think I just invested too much of my life into women's volleyball.

Pretty boring Olympic day! Women's basketball result was expected. I was proud of Candice Parker, a great athlete and Illinois native!

What was the Women's Basketball result???

I know Women's Indoor Volleyball got the silver after Brazil beat them.

And the Men's Indoor Volleyball Final is tomorrow night.

And the Men's Basketball Final is HELLA LATE tonight on NBC.

And... when's the Men's Waterpolo Final?

The women's basketball coverage was promptly live at 10 AM on NBC (aka further delaying volleyball).

The women beat Australia... again. 4 golds in a row.

CY, my sisters were volleyball stars in high school and two played in college. My daughters are pretty good, a few of my neices are great! I have been to hundreds of volleyball matches!

Brd, Can you consider a career over at NBC so we can get some decent Volleyball coverage next Olympic games? They are going to show the Men's gold medal basketball game live at 4:30 AM... but they can't somehow show us the gold medal men's match that is happening right now?! sigh

So, knowing the results of men's platform diving, I watched but the last three dives. It still was very exciting, and I got choked up along with that gay Aussie boy!
