THINGS I'M LOVING ABOUT THE MENS PLATFORM DIVING:



USA's David Boudia is absolutely adorable. Such a prize-winning smile and perfect body. Hot-holy-damn!



His best friend and team-partner Thomas Finchum, seems to be nailing his dives better and has such great body-lines! Especially during his hand-stands. The commentator keeps saying he's "pretty" and I would put money he's on "our-team."



AUS's Matthew Mincham is a total looker.... and openly gay! Look the stubble and of all the men with the tousled-hair, his looks the best.


BRITAIN's 14-year old diver, Tom Daley, just mind-blowing how mature and precise he is at that age!

Oh there is no way they will not air this match live. I will not allow it! I didn't move into college because I wouldn't have a TV and would have to miss the match!!

I work at an indoor toddler gym, and I can't tell you how many Jamaican nannys came in today wearing green and yellow and all-smiles. It's been so fun to chat with them about the Games. Their country is unstoppable!

Ok according to that commercial US Women's Volleyball is at 10 AM. bleh.

That means it is going to have to compete for airtime with the Women's Basketball gold medal match. Not cool.

DAMMIT!!!! Know matter HOW MANY TIMES I tell myself NOT to... to be careful... to cover my eyes... I always end-up finding myself on the NBCOlympics.com website (just checking TV listings) and accidentally seeing who won what!

I (gawddammit) already know who wins the Women's Volleyball Gold Medal match, and the Mens Platform Diving, and the UGH!!!!

I'll still tune-in, but WHY do I do this to myself!?!?!?

Oh dude... is anyone watching this featurette on the Brazilian marathon runner from 2004 Athens, who got attacked on the road by a crazed zealot??? I had no idea that even happened at the last Games!

What a great video story package! There have been some excellent excellent reports and mini-stories during this NBC broadcast, but I think I liked that one the most (and it's one told in past-tense!)

The marathon isn't too exciting to watch until the end... but such such such an incredible accomplishment!
