Eug - I already called the volleyballs. You can have the barbell.
I'll take what I can get...
But really, it's all about the gift of giving for me! (brought to you by Hallmark)
Of course, but they only let you send the same gift once!
Congrats to China on their first medal in rhythmic gymnastics team competition! Also really proud of Israel for finishing 6th and I wish NBC would've shown even one routine of theirs. Oh well. Well done to all of them - what a beautiful sport!
So.... I may or may not have been having a conversation with someone who may or may not also be another BWW Olympics Gay Boy... and we may or may not have clicked through a dozen photos of the divers in Speedos (like Finchum)... and I may or may not have stumbled across this website to share with you (who may or may not click)...

TUNED-IN: Watching Mens Indoor Volleyball Gold-Medal match (USA v BRA) and keep your eyes on #4 David Lee (he's an Adonis) and Team Captain #12 Tom Hoff (total stud). LET'S GO BOYS!!! PS: How cute are they when the team-members (especially Brazil) hug and kiss and whisper in eachother's ears after each play?

I think I just saw my new boyfriend playing on the Brazilian volleyball team.
I saw the kissing, too.

I saw that kiss, interesting.
I cannot believe that we move from Beijing to Denver. How much TV can one watch in three weeks.
Thans Eug and all for adding some spice to the Olympics. Great games, but I have a bad taste from the Gymnastics and will be pissed if Team USA does not do something about the unfair scores and the cheating by the Chinese.
From Beijing to Denver? I don't understand... what's in Denver?
And you're welcome, brdlwyr, but the broadcast isn't over yet! Let's keep the spice coming through the end of the night.
It has been a total and complete pleasure, though, sharing in these games from a theatre-lover's perspective. Just goes to show how an "insider" community can open itself up to another!

The Democratic convention starts tomorrow in Denver, thus more TV!
The Summer Games are great, but my wife and I LOVE the Winter Olympics!!!!!!!
I think this is the most I've watched of the summer olympics in recent memory. I found myself watching a lot more of the track and field than I though I would have.
I'm about to experience Michael Phelps withdrawls..do they give you anything for that?
FROM TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH!!!
What a heart-breaking amazing journey for Coach Hugh McCutcheon --- to start these Games with such a terrifying moment and to end with gold!

This closing ceremony is just spectacular!
Magnificent!
It always makes me sad when the Olympic flame is extinguished. I have the biggest lump in my throat right now.
Dottie, I feel exactly the same way!

Same here. I really do not remember munich or Montreal, but I have watched most of the games since Lake Placid. I loved Lillehammer (sp) and Barcelona.
That song will now be stuck in my head for a while.
Beijing Beijing!
I, for one, will NOT miss seeing the Nationwide Insurance ad every five minutes.
"Hit him in the head Rose!"
Well, ladies and gentlemen:
I hope you had a wonderful experience in China. I certainly did, relishing in so many joys, triumphs, hopes and chills and thrills!
Thank you and congratulations to our incredible world's athletes!
And thank you to all of you BroadwayWorld thread contributors. I've made some great friends and great conversations. But best yet, I've enjoyed watching and sharing in some of the most hair-raising and nail-biting games with people just as equally impassioned.
I'll see you all in Vancouver in 2010!
Che-Che and Thank you.

If not before, LOL. Thanks EugLoven. This has been a pleasant diversion.
Lots of great memories, and can't wait for me and my tivo to get some rest!
Eug, great job keeping everyone informed and the convo interesting. Thanks!
My favorite moment is still Lolo Jones' interview after her fall in the 100m hurdles. Sportsmanship at it's finest.
