Congrats to China on their first medal in rhythmic gymnastics team competition! Also really proud of Israel for finishing 6th and I wish NBC would've shown even one routine of theirs. Oh well. Well done to all of them - what a beautiful sport!

TUNED-IN: Watching Mens Indoor Volleyball Gold-Medal match (USA v BRA) and keep your eyes on #4 David Lee (he's an Adonis) and Team Captain #12 Tom Hoff (total stud). LET'S GO BOYS!!! PS: How cute are they when the team-members (especially Brazil) hug and kiss and whisper in eachother's ears after each play?

I cannot believe that we move from Beijing to Denver. How much TV can one watch in three weeks.

Thans Eug and all for adding some spice to the Olympics. Great games, but I have a bad taste from the Gymnastics and will be pissed if Team USA does not do something about the unfair scores and the cheating by the Chinese.

It has been a total and complete pleasure, though, sharing in these games from a theatre-lover's perspective. Just goes to show how an "insider" community can open itself up to another!

I think this is the most I've watched of the summer olympics in recent memory. I found myself watching a lot more of the track and field than I though I would have.

Same here. I really do not remember munich or Montreal, but I have watched most of the games since Lake Placid. I loved Lillehammer (sp) and Barcelona.

I hope you had a wonderful experience in China. I certainly did, relishing in so many joys, triumphs, hopes and chills and thrills!

Thank you and congratulations to our incredible world's athletes!

And thank you to all of you BroadwayWorld thread contributors. I've made some great friends and great conversations. But best yet, I've enjoyed watching and sharing in some of the most hair-raising and nail-biting games with people just as equally impassioned.
