Eh, I don't feel bad, but everything I've said about him was based on the written work he put out for the world to see. Regardless of his situation, he's got really weird ideas about race and fixations on "stereotypical" people, not to mention his seeming inability to have a positive thing to say about ANYONE he has a business transaction with. He also seems to have zero capacity for introspection which, like I said earlier, is kind of necessary if you're writing about yourself. At least if you expect anyone to take an an actual interest in what you're writing.

For me, it was definitely more the content of his writing that annoyed me more than anything. I generally try not to be snarky and rude to people about how they write though because I know I am not perfect and don't always know a situation. Like I do feel a tiny bit bad about commenting on his poor education, if it was something he couldn't control like a learning disability or something. I still think he comes off as a jerk though and am not sorry for anything else. I would certainly not wish harm on anyone though.

It’s about LIVING in this city. I could totally go to Trader Joe’s and buy groceries and sit around on the computer criticizing someone for doing something better for themselves. Instead, I’m going out and enjoying my life.

I mean, you bought the least authentic kind of empanada (actually three of the least authentic) you could buy in New York City. It's pretty rich to criticize the life choices of others when all you have to go on them is that they post on BWW, all the while writing a terrible blog with a terrible concept about making terrible use of living in New York City.

I don't feel bad for someone who claims to be a writer and then bemoans the fact that he "barely has a high school education." Even if you barely have one, I'm guessing you made it through and then went to a college. If someone is that serious about writing then they would take the time to learn the differences between are/our or then/than and also how to spell words that a fifth grader is capable of.

I also find it somewhat hypocritical that Carlos has become this guy's champion (even if there is now some backpedaling). A "boy" who steadfastly defends his use of "stereotypes" when Carlos is the first to jump on bandwagons and berate anyone on the board who has a negative word to say about any minority group. I guess we'll give this "boy" a pass since he's probably dated the races he mocks so flagrantly.

I'm not his champion, so don't put words in my mouth.

I wasn't the only one on here to re-assess the situation and look at it from a different angle, that is my right. It's called a change of mind.

You're just pissed because I ruined "your fun".

I didn't ruin anything.

I think I made myself perfectly clear earlier this morning.

I wasn't giving him "a pass" on anything and I clearly stated I hoped he would see that he was wrong in writing what he did about people from other races. So don't try to spin this so you can get the opportunity to call me a hypocrite.

And you're damned right I will call out anyone on this board who has a negative thing to say about any group whether it be someone who is white, black, hispanic, etc.

I don't tolerate INTOLERANCE.

If you don't like what I post then I suggest you put me on ignore. It really is that simple.

Yeah, I read the Carol Channing doll post and that was the tipping point for me. I thought maybe he was faking it, deliberately aiming it at us or something. It couldn't actually be for real, right?
