Jessica, this is totally random, but I've always had such a thing for Billie Joe Armstrong. But I don't think that Tim looks particularly like him.

I've got a summer job I can fall back on, but I really want to get an internship in the field that I'm studying so I can start building up my resume.

Yeah, actuaries generally work for either insurance companies or consulting firms that help design employee-benefits plans. It's all about calculating risk and using that information to set rates.

What got you interested in pursuing actuarial science? It seems a little dry for a Broadway fan, though now that I think about it, it sort of explains your fascination with the music charts!

I had always enjoyed math and working with numbers, and I knew I wanted to do something business-related. When I went to an open house for NYU's business program, they talked about the different majors they offered, and actuarial science seemed so interesting and perfect for what I wanted to do.

now that I think about it, it sort of explains your fascination with the music charts!

I love looking at the Billboard charts each week and noticing certain trends (albums that debut high and fall quickly versus those with steady sales, radio hits that sell the performer's album versus those that sell downloads of the individual song, etc.) My parents used to get on my case for saving every issue I bought, but I've found articles in there that have been quite useful for school projects.

We also have a Hanukkah gelt toy and a Jewish star. The company that makes them is called "Chewish Toys." They're hilarious!

I also love that all your dogs toys are bigger than your dog. Your puppy is very cute.
