we used RICE in our school..but it stood for something completely different..something about kindness and to respect others. I know R stood for respect and that's about it
I learned that when I sprained an ankle once too. I guess I should apply it now to make sure my knee doesn't get worse. I exercised on Saturday, and yesterday it hurt a little, and today it's hurting more. Thanks for all the advice!
I've never heard of RICE before.
I learned it in a dance /nutrition class in high school.
I now have a bandage around my knee and a cold gel pack on it.

well that's good, I hope it feels better soon
uhh 8 o'clock already?
I think it is doing better, thanks.
This is interesting - when I checked the School of Rock IMDb board a little while ago, four out of the top ten threads were about Adam in some way.
I feel like i might collapse. I have a huge headache and I want to go to bed, but it's not even 8 where I am, so I feel lame.
Aw, we're just a casualty ward around here lately. Don't feel bad about going to bed if you feel like it. It could help a lot.

I still haven't seen School of Rock. It was on sale for dirt cheap at Target, but it was the fullscreen edition. I'm anal about buying only widescreen edition DVDs, so...

aww I love that movie. It's so cute and I like Adam in it...just not the mullet.
Dancinqueen, there is nothing lame about getting much-needed rest when you don't feel well. Hope you feel better soon.
Heh, Lexi. I'm the same way when it comes to fullscreen vs. widescreen - I got into a fight with my mom over it when I wanted to know which edition of the Rent DVD she bought so I would know if I needed to bring mine when I went home. I borrowed my brother's copy of School of Rock when I was home over winter break, but I only watched Adam's scenes (there's only so much Jack Black I can handle before I want to tear my hair out).
I think I'm seeing Julia Murney on L&O on TNT right now.

Thanks for the heads-up, Chloe. I just turned it on, although I don't think I've seen her yet.
Anyone else here a Jesus Christ Superstar fan? I just realized that Adam (from the neck up) looks eerily similar to the man who played Peter in the movie in those Aida backstage photos. I think it's the curly hair more than anything. Heh.

My dad bought me the full screen version of Rent.
That was really nice of him, but...I want widescreen so I'm going to buy another.

My mom bought me the fullscreen version of Star Wars. I felt horrible for making her return it, but I couldn't deal with having it in my DVD collection.
I'm OCD about certain things.
Seriously? I'll put it on.
I don't really care either way. Though I know a lot of people that really do care.
She's in the cast list, but I suspect that she just had one scene early in the show. It's called "Nowhere Man" if you want to check it out, initially aired in 2004.
I have only heard two songs from JCS. I don't get TNT, I checked

I refuse to buy the Star Wars DVDS until they come out with the package of all six in 2007. And it better have the deleted scenes this time. I'll just watch my VHS tapes.

I have L&O on but I see no Juiia.
Yes, as I said, I think she was on only at the start. This particular episode has a huge cast, but she's definitely listed. It was startling to suddenly see her on the TV. She looked good, with long hair and layers around her face.
awww, Julia. Well, I'll leave it on in case she comes back.
