Yay!
Tomorrow is the first ever meeting of the newly-established Broadway Club at my school! We're going to vote on a show to see tomorrow...I'm going to rig it. Nah, I'm not that selfish.
We might even be able to go backstage at a show. *crosses fingers* Please let it be RENT or Sweeney so I can fangirl Tim or Mano...
Oo you are SO lucky!

wow that's awesome guitargeek! Lucky duck!
yay podcast!
That's really cool, guitargeek! Let us know how it goes.
*sigh* my mother can be too mom-ish for her own good sometimes. She hurt her wrist trying to move some furniture at the beginning of February, her arm is still bothering her 6 or 7 weeks later, and she hasn't gotten around to going to the doctor yet to get it checked out. Now, if something similar had happened to me, or my dad, or my brother, she would have taken us to the doctor immediately, but because it's her, she's too busy to find time to go get it taken care of.
If that were me, I would've gone to the doctor ASAP. Well, mainly because I've already fractured my right wrist three times and my left once...thankfully I'm a lefty.

Aw, hopefully it'll be okay BG! Did you tell her to go?
Say a little prayer for Lucy, my roommate's dog...she got into a bit of chocolate today. She went to the vet, and its all okay, but its still kind of scary for 24 hours.
It's new recipe night at my apartment...Teriyaki Chicken and Honey Veggies!
Mm, I love chicken teriyaki.
guitargeek0624--I'm a lefty too
Amber-have I mentioned how cool you are lately? If not well you are awesome.

Thanks? I mean, I am pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie
My mom is also a lefty. I'm pretty sure it's her right wrist that she hurt. When I was home for a couple of days over spring break last week, she mentioned what happened and that she still can't put a lot of pressure on that arm (she claims that it's just a mental block). I told her she needed to go to the doctor. When she called me a little while ago, I asked her if she had gone yet and she was like, "no, but if I don't get called to work tomorrow [she's a substitute teacher] I'll go to the chiropractor and have him take a look at it." It just bugs me that she's always too busy to take time for herself, even when it comes to something like being sick or hurt.
I hope that she is okay Jessica. Moms can be annoying when it comes to putting other people first.
My dad's like that. He badly hurt his back last summer and refused to go to the doctor for months. :-/ psh, parents.

I'm going to see Urinetown on Thursday! Very excited.
BG - My mom's a substitute teacher, too. Freaky.
Yay Allie! Have fun!

I hope your mom feels better Jess.
oo sounds fun Allie!
My mom doesn't always put me first. I've had a bad cold for the past 3 weeks and TODAY she finally calls the doctor. The doctor says that I was wheezing alot and my mom kept on saying she was a bad mother because she didn't take me in earlier. Hello? I've been complaining for 3 weeks!
Why should Adam be scared? An all-girls Catholic school is like every straight guy's fantasy.
I bought my ticket for SUNY Cortland today!
Have fun Allie and Skittles. I so wish I could go to the concert, but it wouldn't work out.
Great, skittles. You veel uff course reporrrt back hier at vunce!
Skittles, you can buy tickets an hour before the show, right? Because I plan on going but it's a 2hr drive.
At least someone from here gets to go.
Yeah, they said you can get tickets at the door, but I was thinking of it now, so I just called and got them.
If it's for certain that Adam is going to Illinois Wesleyan on April 11 (I don't really know if it's going to happen because it's not on Adam's myspace or the school website, but it's on Larry Edoff's site) I might go and sneak in with my brother, but it's a three hour drive.

Any cooks in the thread tonight? Can I make hummus without tahini? I was thinking about a touch of peanut butter, but since mine is Kraft, I'm sure it's very sugar-filled. I've found "no sugar added peanut butter" in a couple of hummus recipes. Hmmm. Any suggestions?
