Yeah, doesn't sound like I'd like it Allie. I like my food very very plain and "American".
Sounds good Allie. I just had some lovely organic vanilla yogurt with organic maple/oat granola. It was much better than it probably sounds.
We've become very food-oriented here lately, haven't we?
I had a whole box of girlscout cookies in the last 3 days *feels fat*. They're so yummy!

I doesn't taste too "exotic". You can get all kinds of different flavours at the grocery store. I had a great sun-dried tomato hummus once.
My next adventure will be making guacamole!
Sadly it's not just the taste. If I don't like the look of something, I'll avoid it. I'm very shallow :P. I googled hummus, definitely will be avoiding that.
I love guacamole, and avocados in general.

*blindfolds Sarah and force-feeds her hummus*
Kidding, kidding.
I'm the same way Sarah. I won't eat something based on the way it looks and smells.

Sarah, you're doing yourself a favor. It's gross.
I think I'm with Sarah on the whole hummus thing... I used to say "I seen, I looked at it, and I know I no gonna like it." I was three or four and that pretty much holds true today.
I'm liking the food discussion. I've always been a picky eater, but since I've been away from home I've become a lot more adventurous in my food choices. There are just so many good restaurants within walking distance of my dorm - how could I not partake of the yumminess?
Sun-dried tomato hummus? That sounds amazing.
I'm a picky eater too. I won't eat sushi because I think it smells gross. But I kinda wanna try hummus.

Send your guacamole recipe my way, Chloe, if you have a good one. I've actually never tried it, but I just know I'll like it.
Oh, SO good, Billboard! I'll see what else they have at the grocery store... I've had sun-dried tomato, and lemon and dill. I think they had a roaster red pepper one, too.
Mel, try California rolls. I'm generally not a seafood fan because of the fishy taste/smell, but they're so good. Spicy tuna rolls are also pretty good.
Yeah, my sisters always telling me that I would like spicy tuna rolls. She's been trying to get me to eat sushi for years.

I like sushi, but I'm very picky about the kind I eat. I refuse to try octopus, eel, and some of the other more "adventurous" types. I LOVE salmon, dislike tuna, and like vegetable and California rolls. I'm a seafood fan in general, though.
I don't eat seafood either. My brother used to work in the seafood department at our grocery store and our whole house smelled like fish.

I love seafood, especially lobster.
I think the weirdest thing I have eaten is either emu, kangaroo, or octopus.
This Asian fusion place near my house serves these really good salmon and melted goat cheese rolls. Yum. They also have good shrimp and vegetable tempura rolls.
My dad loves anchovies, and I make him eat them outside because it makes the whole house smell for days.

Oh gosh, seafood! Being from Nova Scotia, of COURSE I love seafood!
I had my lemons and dill weed out while making hummus, and thought I should go buy some salmon this week. YUM.

I love salmon, especially smoked salmon. And oysters, prepared any way. Calamari is great too, although a lot of people refuse to eat that.
The only fish I can stand is tuna and salmon.

Smoked salmon is definitely amazing as well! I like mussels a lot, too, but I can only eat a few of them before the fishy taste overwhelmes me.
Eww, anchovies.
I had always been afraid to try calamari, but I tried it a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty good.
