Do you remember Treasure Trolls? I assume this is their newest incarnation. My sister got the green-haired one a couple of weeks ago, and I played with it for an hour, I swear. Pigtails, beehive, braids, mohawk... FUN!
But, I miss the treasure trolls... I collected them! Trollz are just creepy... I got the blue-haired one and it's scary.
These are the *cool* trolls... :-P

Where are their jeweled bellys?!
Not too long ago while cleaning out, I found a big box of trolls way up in my closet. It was rather amusing...

I like those more, but they're still a little creepy.

I want the Happy Meal one that comes with a scarf... then I could REALLY do some cool stuff to her hair. *bounces*
I collected the jewelled ones, too!
I had baby trolls with light purple hair... and they were crawling and had bibs and diapers... so cute!
Trollz, however... *hides*

Do you guys remember these?
I had a collection of these as well. Their hair was SO soft and fluffy!
What are those, Allie?
I had a few of those too! Those are cute.... but also clowns.
I remember having a huge Beanie Baby collection. *shivers*
Fads...

Just little clown dolls. They used to sell them at the grocery store, among other places. Some of them had porcelain faces. They had the SOFTEST hair, and I think their bodies were sort of like beanbags or something. My sister and I both used to have them, and tease the cat with them. She (the cat) hated it when we tickled her nose with the clowns' hair!
This isnt really a toy, but a few years ago there was this fad where girls would wear bra straps as headbands. Anyone remember that? It was really odd.
I have two tickets to Three Days of Rain tonight that I can't use. If you're interested, I can leave them in your name at the BO.
I wish, Bohemian.
I really need to stop using library computers.
I used to have quite a few of the old-school trolls, but those new Trollz are creepy.
As for other fads, I still remember how crazy everyone was for Pogs when I was in elementary school (and naturally, as soon as I started collecting them my school banned them), and strangely enough everyone was addicted to playing Cat's Cradle and all of those other string games. Tamagotchis and Furbys were "fun," but got annoying so fast. I still have my collection of Polly Pocket sets that I liked to play with when I was younger, and while I wasn't into Beanie Babies when they were popular, I tend to buy at least one any time I travel (I still have a hard time falling asleep without a stuffed animal, and after an incident a few years ago where I accidentally left my favorite stuffed animal in a hotel room my parents won't let me take one from home with me when we go on vacation).

I had a Nano dog. I found it over the summer, but I stripped the screws trying to get the back off, so I can't replace the battery. Oooh, POGS! My dad had a few real milk tops, and I liked to show them off with the rest of my pogs.

My day just came to a screeching halt...
My childhood crush from elementary school got engaged
I don't know why this bothers me so much, but it sure does...

Eek, Amber. I think I'd have a hard time with that, too. Eat some pie!
Aww Amber, news like that is always hard to take. Even though none of my old crushes (as far as I know) have gotten engaged, I know where you're coming from - even if you've long since moved on, there's always that little thought in the back of your mind.
Pogs were banned at my elementary school too. I had a Tomagatchi, but my parents wouldn't let me bring it to school, so my mom had to babysit it all day for me. Which pissed me off- what was the point of having one if you couldn't show it off?
Anyway, I'm happy. It was a nice day today, so we took the kids outside at work. All the other classes were out as well and I got to play with my little buddy. I miss the toddler room.
It weirds me out to know that people my age are getting engaged.
Sorry Amber.
No one wants the tickets?
Heh, my mom absolutely refused to baby-sit my Tamagotchi, so I had to tinker with its clock every day so it would think it was the middle of the night during the hours I was at school, then switch it back to the actual time as soon as I got home.
I loved my Tamagotchi. He mom wouldn't baby-sit it either.
*is desperatly trying to find someone who wants her tickets*
Make a thread on the main board... you can do it!
I geuss that I have to. *is nervous*
