HA!
Oh wow, I didn't even think of that...take note: an occasion where I didn't make the Rent connection (that doesn't happen very often)
Once my mom had made french fries..
sister: *eats one* EW
brother: it tastes the same
me: ..if you close your eyes
it was so perfect, cause none of them know rent. *has problems*
I'm starving - I wouldn't mind a few meatless balls right now, but I'd prefer some of Amber's cookies.

hah...that's awesome Mel
That's cute, Mel.
All of this cookie talk is making me really hungry. Alas, cookies are not among the few food items I have here in my dorm room.
I just ordered SWIWS!! I'll getit on Monday. FINALLY!
Here's a random question: Does anyone know where the exclamation point divider comes from? I think the first time I saw it was for Nun!Adam.
::is out of it::

I'm not sure, Chloe. I know that I saw and used exclamation point dividers before I started coming to BWW. I think it just sort of adds some sort of tongue-in-cheek exuberance to a phrase.
I don't know, either, Chloe.
It's a general internet fandom thing, I think. The first time I saw it was in reference to Harry Potter with descriptions of how the characters were acting/what they were doing at a specific point (e.g. angsty!Harry), though I have no idea where it originated.

The first time I saw it was in Harry Potter as well. MarySue!Hermione, etc.
Thanks, that's interesting. I kind of like it - it does add something.
Random threadjack-ish question: is anyone interested in seeing the movie Thank You For Smoking? I got 2 passes to a free screening of it tomorrow night, and the friend I was supposed to go with can't make it.
Pascala
I finished the fairy tale. I think that was the best homework assignment ever.
No, the best homework assignment is doing a research project on Anthony
Oh that sounds really fun. I love homework... when its about Rent related things..

Cute story! I always find myself being reminded of random musicals, which I obviously I have to quote...but no one ever knows what I'm talking about...
How'd the fairy tale end?
Can I move to Pascala?
Melz- I pmed you.
I'll pm the whole thing to anyone else who wants it.
(Its better than the draft, I promise)

Ugh, someone just sent me a really rude myspace message.

Thanks,
It took me a few minutes to realize how to pick up a PM...being a newbie isn't all it's cracked up to be. The confusions are endless..
But all is well and I am slowly beginning to figure out what the heck I'm doing.
Good story by the way, very cute.
Edited to say: I am very glad I never joined the MySpace world, I've heard a few stories about it. What exactly was the message about?

Let's just say it was something they were very willing to do to me. It was really offensive.
Oh you just joined! Congrats and welcome.

Haha, thanks.
Joining is always quite intimidating I must say, but so far so good.
Erg, there are really some weirdos out there.
