Maybe he realized he got carried away and so hardly said anything the next time.
Boy, it's easy to start feeling protective of him.

none of the other interesting threads are moving, so i'm invading this one, as i occasionally do. so, what's up, everyone?
I have such protective feelings, Chloe. I get sad when he's not happy... like on The View, I sat there talking to my tv going "aw, Adam, don't cry!!" People make fun of me and say I sound like I should be his mother or something.
Hi Beka, we've been discussing how Adam is really an introvert (and what the true definition of that is) and the contrast between his confidant stage presence and occasional expressions of anxiety about people showing up to his concerts.
Write a 500 word essay and...
Well no, just come up with whatever.
He did look really sad on the View. I wonder why that was. And he was so tense at first, but then got into it.

haha. essay on adam. I WOULD LOVE AN ASSIGNMENT LIKE THAT.
but anyways, i have to leave. my parents are making me turn the computer off before the winds blow over the power lines and such, and i'm concurring because i REALLY don't want to lose all my work. it's happened before, and i don't want to have to do it all over. so i'll talk to you all another time...

Oh, you don't really want me to write 500 words....
re: The View - I heard that when he sang I'm With You on 12/29 it was pretty intense, and that he dedicated one of the songs to his "babies, and to all of the babies that lost their lives" in the tsunami. He was apparently *extremely* emotional that night, and very upset by what had happened. That said, I'm With You is about his kids, and I guess that's why he looked like he was going to cry.
Emcee, any time you have the urge to write any sort of essay, please feel free!
As I recall it was "I'm With You" that he dedicated like that, but I could be wrong. As was said before, there does seem to be a difference between when Adam performs in/ promotes a musical, and when it's his own music. There's much more on the line for him, so I think that's why he was nervous. I hope he can conquer that, as there may be a lot more similar opportunites coming up.
It was either that or Beautiful Song. I don't really remember, and there was lots of cell phone static.
I can't imagine trying to listen to a concert over a cell phone...
People keep getting my hopes up by posting on the Anthony thread. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON! Yes, I'm bored.
Well, it was that or nothing at all. So, from Florida, I was there in.... let's call it spirit.
In spirit, that's a good way to put it. I was happy to hear about all the other Rent guys being at the concert too, though I didn't see them. I didn't stick around - not a stage doorer.
It's also more *ahem* legal that being there via cell phone, I think. I'm not really sure how that's classified, to be completely honest, but I probably don't want to know.

Oh, emcee, you are so innocent... Don't forget the puppy eyes, my dear!
I just came back from a fun musical
Topgun: the Musical.... wow- that's an interesting idea for a musical!!
I loved the reference to how the writer in the show is coming off the failure of his musical "Apocalypse Wow!"

Haha, the writer in the show also did "Die Hard the Musical". I seriously cracked up for the whoel thing! Especially the song which was quite reminicsent of "A Little Fall of Rain"
The sad thing is that someone might actually write "Die Hard the Musical" some day. So this was a student production?

Yeah, the theatrical society put it on. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't audition! Oh well, spring term auditions are at the end of the month!

Hi! Got back from an almost nine hour long tech rehearsal for my dance show in a week...
Thanks for the words of advice (?) about grammar and its importance. I guess that I know it's important, but I was sort of mad when I typed that post. If it weren't for my inability to use commas and semicolons properly, I would have had an A on my English final! Oh well, a B is still good.
And now I'm off to eat dinner...

Nine hours? Yikes! Have a good dinner... Mmmmm, I'm kind of hungry.
Wasn't Top Gun part of the NYMF this year? I remember that getting a lot of humorous buzz...
ballerina, go take a nap or something. That's insane.

Oh, come on, Emcee. We know you already have 1000-word essays written about him. Or am I underestimating you again?

I'm back. The nine hours isn't really as bad as it sounds... we spent the first hour going on a tour of the backstage area, etc. Then we spent about another hour organizing all of our costumes, shoes, makeup, etc. We only spent about three to four hours dancing. A lot of it was adjusting our spacing, checking out light cues, and how to go from a long, flowy dress w/ ballet shoes to a hip hop number in about a minute. (I have three numbers in a row). A nap does sound nice... but I'm babysitting my younger brother... *sigh*
GAH! And I have another tech rehearsal tomorrow! (Thank goodness this one is only 4-5 hours)
I think now would be a good time for me to listen to some Model Prisoner... haven't done that for a few weeks now...
Amasis, you are. I have exactly 42,409 words written at the present time.
