Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

I think that Norbert is one of the best interpreters of song on Broadway today. He gives "Moving Too Fast" so much life and character. Same with Sherie. This is one of my favorite recordings.

can't play the words: (can't say them here either) What you can play but not say on the air is: (well, can't really say these here either.) fun stuff.

edited out the swear words.

hey girls!! (and Ryan if you're around)
just got back from classes...i go straight 10-2:15, then i have another from 3:30-4:30.
and when i get back from that i get to do homework, write a paper, go to the ear training lab, and practice. so i'll be around most of the night, doing work and whatnot.
since everyone is mad at me, i've pretty much turned into a hermit...all i do is practice, do homework, and work. but eh, details.

Mamie--it sounds like you had SO much fun. you are totally right..Greg makes it seem like YOU are the best person ever and like you did him a favor coming to see him...so awesome. i'm glad you had fun!!! how old is your niece? just curious.
i cant wait to see the show with Jonathan and Norb working together...sounds like they have tons of fun The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread

Sorry to miss the show, Dre The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread Next week though I will have the internet set up to listen to it over at my work place. Oh well, got 6 pages of book 3 done today so I am happy (and my fingers bleeding)

Amanda- Laura was incredible. She can seriously do any role in the show. Greg playfully joked that she is understudying Andre next week and then I said she could play Freddy as well. She brought alot of youth and charm to the character so it was all good. And yes, Sherie brought her son. She, her husband, and son went out to dinner with the Jbaras last night according to Laura.

Mamie - So that was what happened! I noticed the dancing of both the opening and GBS seemed to lack a little energy. Plus, Norbert wasn't 100% which is understandly since he just came back from LA. He still gave 95%. It all makes sense now. It was still one of the best shows yet of DRS. Any fears of Mr. Pyrce not living up to the role have certainly been calmed.
