I really don't like her much in that interview. She sounds a wee bit full of herself.
But maybe that is what you need to succeed as an artist these days.

She was also on the Today show this morning. They had a mini fashion show included with her interview. That video can be found on MSN.com.

I agree with YWIW ^^
That article makes her seem a bit conceited. It's not like she made something wonderful and got axed. When you get right down to it, the paper dress was not her best work. It was actually not great at all. And she knew her model's size going in. Don't blame the failure on your model being a size 8!
Alison should not have gone home though, so I can understand why she's miffed. Vincent and His Head of Seven Voices should have gone home, closely followed by Angela and her Spacesuit Overalls design. But I think this interview makes Alison seem like she thought she should have (or could have?) won the challenge? No way. Not this one.

Yes but Allison is pretty, blonde, thin and talented so I am sure she is a tiny bit full of herself. The world probably validates her alot.

"I was also a little skeeved when Vincent kept saying (re: his design) "it gets me off, man, it gets me off!" "
I was pretty wierded out that the kept saying that, not only once, but continuously throughout the last segment of the episode. He also kept saying "it turns me on!"; you could definetly tell that the judges were a little bit wierded out by his behavior as well. Ugh, he just seems like a complete skeeze.

Even if Alison is full of herself, her cockiness doesn't compare to Vincent's! He creates these hideous designs every week but claims to "love" them. Alison actually has talent and knows what looks good. She made one mistake on this challenge, but it's not like she'll be designing clothes from recycling centers as a career!

Michael Kors looked mortified when Vincent KEPT REPEATING "it gets me off". Michael usually looks like he is smelling limburger cheese, but his expression at Vincent was priceless. I was waiting for Vinny to start rubbing his nipples. He's very odd.
My nickname for Laura is Cruella DeVille. Especially since she hated puppies and put hers in her bag.

Tchi - thank you! I thought to myself while watching..."zaftig? I think not! You waant zaftig? Go visit my aunt Esther. Aunt Esther is zaftig!" In Alison's EW interview, though, she says that her model was a size 8 or 10. Mind - neither size is big, AT ALL, and Alison also interviews that her model is "bigger" than Alison. Once again - not so. Alison is adorable. She looks like a cherub. But she's definitely an average sized/weight woman. her model is very thin.

Vincent's.. um.. creation looks like a costume made for a kindergarten play made by kindergarteners. Complete trash. I don't know how he didn't go home. Alison's atleast had shape. Although it wasn't the best shape, the model could atleast walk in it.

I just laughed so hard I woke up my dog! LOL!
Michael does look like he's smelling limberger, and it doesn't help that he's also the color of cheese. He is the most orange man on television next to Jay Manuel from America's Next Top Model.

does anyone know why Tim's podcast isn't on iTunes yet? I know someone said that it is on the website, but I can't find it.

YWIW- Where is it on the website. I found podcasts right near Tim's Blog, but I clicked on the iTunes link, and I was directed to iTunes, but the podcast wasn't there.

I'd agree with you. Also, at least Alison and Kayne were able to take a step back and realize that they were in trouble and their designs were not working. Vincent? Possibly the LEAST self-aware Runway contestant ever. He lives in his own world and can't be objective about any of his creations, even when Tim tries to help.
