"Vincent's.. um.. creation looks like a costume made for a kindergarten play made by kindergarteners. Complete trash. I don't know how he didn't go home. Alison's at least had shape. Although it wasn't the best shape, the model could at least walk in it"

I'd agree with you. Also, at least Alison and Kayne were able to take a step back and realize that they were in trouble and their designs were not working. Vincent? Possibly the LEAST self-aware Runway contestant ever. He lives in his own world and can't be objective about any of his creations, even when Tim tries to help.

uh...and that crap all over his butcher paper dress was freaking falling all over the damn runway!

Last week was a disaster. It proved to me that even the best reality show is all about tv, not reality.

It makes me miss Joe Schmo.

In deference to our West Coast posters, please no spoilers about tonight's episode.

Well, okay, but I honestly don't think it's fair for the Eastern Standard Time people to have to wait until 1:00 a.m. if we want to talk about the show. I would think the West coast posters would practice restraint and stay away from the thread until they've viewed the episode.

I reeeeeally liked tonights episode, the right choice was made, it is sad though because he was one of the only genuine people there. Kayne, Jeffrey, Angela, Vincent, and Laura I think have a lot to offer to make good television, but Michael and Uli seem to be the only ones to stay out of the fray.

I LOVE Uli a lot, but was actually happy when Vincent won. Sure his last week design was utter crap, but that is the joy of the show in how drastically changed one week can be from the next. I'm dying to see next weeks with the fight and wondering what surprise there is for the designers.

I though Uli deserved the win more than Vincent. I just didn't like Vincent's.

My distaste for Jeffrey is growing stronger every day. He is a jerk.

Thanks for respecting my request. I was just trying to be fair to the people on the West Coast. I only mentioned that because some posters were stating results last week without using "*Spoiler*. It's possible to discuss the show without mentioning names though. Oh well.

Although I was sad to see Robert go, his design was boring. I really expected a lot from him at the beginning of the season. But here we go again, the judges mentioned it wasn't the first time his outfit was boring, yet, Alison was eliminated last week, even though she was a top designer throughout all those other episodes. Inconsistency of the judges.

At the beginning of the episode I was beginning to view Jeffrey in a different light until he started mouthing off. How disprectful he was towards Angela's mom. His mom was so nice, too.

Well, Jeffrey gets the A for @SSHOLE award!

Angela's mom (who physically reminded me of a plus size Lily Tomlin) may have been a little whiny, etc., but Jeff was totally a jerk! Jesus, have a little respect. He was taking all of that hatred he has towards Angela (and probably women in general...i.e. his prior "feminazi" comments, etc,) projecting it on to her mother. Laura hates Jeff, but she was nothing but professional and nice to his mom.

People can only treat you how you allow them to, though. Laura's mom would've eaten him for breakfast! I didn't blame Angela for being near tears. Her mom felt really hurt and ganged up on.

And his crying to his Mommy about how "good people are gone! bad people are here!" Oh wah, wah WAH you ugly @ss, tattoo-necked ex-junkie f-cking BABY. Be a grown up. Because, of course, if he relapses it will be ALL ANGELA'S FAULT. As is Robert's being sent home, the war in Iraq and all of the other ills in the universe. It's great that Jeff conquered his addictions and became productive, but it doesn't excuse that venomous anger.

Robert showed SO much promise with his first gorgeous dress (still my favorite creation of the entire season). I just think he lost his competitive streak and was exhausted or something. Or he just wanted to leave and stopped trying on purpose. I can see why he was sent home.

Michael's garment was my favorite, but I didn't have a problem with them giving it to Vincent. He did a really good job.

ETA: Laura's sixth kid is on the way? Wow, that woman's got a Jiffy Pop for a uterus!

Ok, wow.

Someone should trace Jeffrey's neck tattoo with a razor blade. How DARE he treat someone's adorable, sweet, Midwestern mother that way? And could he make his ire, distaste, and hatred for large women MORE obvious? ALL he did was bitch about how "Nothing has ever prepared him to design anything for a woman this size" and "What am I supposed to do with a woman this big?". He and Heidi K. should go have a fat-hating baby somewhere. God, I hate him.

Ok, Vincent. Yay. He...won. He SHOULD have won....a small award for FINALLY designing a piece of clothing that actually looks like a piece of clothing. To be worn. By people.

Did he deserve to win? Hell no. Uli made Miss Thing look fanTAStic. That top was FLAWLESS...the construction was absolutely spot-on, the choice of print, once again, was BRILL.

But Robert, dear, dear, poor, dull, one-trick-pony, Barbie-dressing Robert.

A black smock with a monochromatic poncho? On an enormous short woman? Darling. Darling, darling, darling...I won't even bother asking "what were you thinking", because obviously, HE WASN'T.

I think he WANTED to go home. I really think he was over it, bored, and has been for some time. That's the only explanation I can come up with for his boring, lackluster, Mervyn's-clearance-sale crap these last few weeks. Bye, Robbie, loved your biceps, hated your voice.

Kayne. Honey. WHY? You made MISS AMERICA'S gown, but you can't design a simple cute outfit for a normal woman? Oy. Another one-tricker. Bye. Go home. Glad you lost 110 pounds, wish you were capable of designing outside the sequin box.

I don't have time to get to everyone else, but they mostly didn't suck. Even Angela's, *I* didn't think was horrid. The fringe? Eh. Not a good idea on a 399 year old redhead, but at least the bitch WORKED IT LIKE IT WAS HER JOB.

If Jeffrey's crackhead-lookin' ass is not gone soon, I am going to take a taxi to Bravo's offices and force them all to listen to Florence Foster Jenkins. All day.

THANK YOU. Unlike Vincent's sister, who didn't crack a smile the entire show! Maybe she was just afraid of Heidi, who looked like she wanted to kill herself whenever one of the big girls walked her sacred runway.

I also agree with your assessment of Uli's outfit. The mix of prints were fab, again, and she created a wearable, good looking piece for a larger woman to feel good in. Hers was more high-end, where Kayne's was more mail-order Chadwicks of Boston. Michael seemed more upset with her decolletage being covered than with the matchy/matchy stuff. He wanted to see some big ta-tas.

Speaking of Michael, leave it to The Orange One to come up with another awesome quip, re: Jeffrey's outfit:

"It was as if Commes de Garcon went to the Amish country."

It was as great as "That crotch is insane" and "Lighten up, it's just fashion" and all of the others. I want to put together a list!

i just want to say that last nights episode made me dislike jeffrey even more. the challenge was to make your client happy while still staying true to yourself. other than the blue at the top (which i HATED, what the hell was that??) he was not himself AND his client hated it. it didnt flatter her at all.

as far as robert going home, im not too disappointed. it really wasnt much, but i thought the dress was better than jeffreys for sure.

angelas outfit was ok for me. i love angela but i think she could have done a little better with this challenge

uli i think should have won. she made a great outfit for a plus size woman and it looked gorgeous!

vincent, wow, i have to say he really surprised me. im not a fan of his stuff but this week he did a great job! he really made uli's mother look great!

laura's outfit i thought was great. the only thing i didnt like is that she is starting to do the same stuff. it all works and it all looks beautiful but its all the same. loved the outfit though.

i didnt think kaynes outfit was all that bad either. i just didnt like the "poncho" thing. but the outfit looked good on michael's mom

i loved michaels outfit as well. it really looked great and out together. and the fact that it was reversible just adds to an already great dress.

i have to say that i love how lauras pregnant and her mother just found at with michael kors and before her husband did. i mean, how do you not tell your husband something like that!! ha ha. but yea, GREAT episode. i LOVED this challenge!!

Now for my usual dissenting opinion! I hated every single outfit. oy vey.
I am an old lady and wouldn't consider wearing any of them. I was shocked at how ugly they all were!

As for the personalities-Vincent is a rude jerk, but I thought Angela's mom made a fool out of herself and might be embarrassed when she sees the episode. She carried on like a child.

I still like Kayne. He's adorable and I think we'd get along.

Half those women looked terrified to be on a runway.

However, Robert's sister...wow. That girl could WALK. You just KNOW she has done a mall fashion show or forty in her day. That dress ChocoStud made for her was BANGING, too. I loved how it was sort of flirtyservative, and TOTALLY reversible. He is SUCH A GOOD F*CKING DESIGNER.

He has not missed a single beat since this competition started. Neither has Uli...they are my top 2 right now, and if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say the third top 3 will be Laura.

I hope.

I love her.

Laura, if you're reading, I want to have a drink with you and your E-Z Bake uterus.

Ugh, I wish Jeffrey had gone. He's such a ****stick. I can't even stand it anymore. He disrepsects every woman he has the chance to. And his garment...what the hell WAS that thing? It was just a hig...blob of fabir c on that poor little lady.

I don't know why everyone was complaining so much about kayne's outfit. It looks like an outfit my mother has, actually. She's very skinny, though, maybe it's just not flattering. I didn't really like Uli's honestly, and I think that Michael should have won over Vincent (I would have worn Michael's dress in an instant) but, hey, I'm biased--Michael's been my pick to win since episode one.

Robert...Jesus, you'd think that designing for Barbie would, if nothing else, give you some flare! What's with the blank canvases he's been putting out for weeks? no self-respecting eight-year-old would dress their barbie in his latest creations! He deserved to go home. But whoever said that it's an inconsistency in the judging is completely correct.

This week also proves that Vincent is most definitely this season's Santino, with less talent.

Yes he is. Thank you, Chloe Dao, for fighting for his inclusion.

Flirtyservative? You come up with the best words. I loved that dress.

Jeffrey's enabling mama bothered me. She loves her kid, yes. But I can tell you that if that were MY mother and I was being such a disrespectful idiot, she would have kicked me in the @ss but good. Instead, she makes excuses about his alkie past and being under stress. No apologies necessary for her precious Jeffrey. Annoying. Moms rule! Don't be mean to them.

She totally annoyed me. You can SO tell that she's one of those Connecticut-type Stepford wives who totally made Jeffrey miserable as a kid, was always screaming at him about not being perfect enough, and when he became a big flaming junkieholic (wonder why, Mommie Dearest?), was vicious and horrible and totally unsupportive and then when he got through it and started working with famous people and then got on TV, he was her pwecious widdle poor-put-upon-been-through-it schmoopypoopums. You know she loved the drama, and totally thought the frumpy Midwestern hausfrau deserved it. She totally had that frosty-snatchbag look on her face the whole time.

Now, Mommy Kors...THERE'S a fun lady! Funny, isn't it, how she looks just like Michael in drag...but so does he.

The mind fairly boggles.

Love you, too, Janey! (And how could you not love Uli's outfit?!?! It was gorgeous! I love a fat lady in some diaphanous fabric! It's all so Grecian goddessy...)

Schmoopypoopums? WTF?

I loved Kayne's mom and Michael's mom. And I wanted to like Laura's mom but I couldn't get the feel for her. I mean, when Laura said that she was pregnant...was her mother happy or not? I couldn't tell...

I didn't love Uli's dress because I'm not into Kumbaya.

I liked that Jeffrey's mom came off as supportive and proud of her son for bringing himself out of the hell he was in and being quasi-successful now. Anyway, who knows everything she said- it's all edited. Yes, he's rude but that's all edited also. The mom acted like a baby and that's all edited. We don't have all the info. They presented what they wanted to, and it's entertaining! I'm sure folks all over the place are talking about the show like we are-they know what they're doing1

I agree with just about everything above - except I am kind of glad that Jefferey did not go home, because he would have blamed Angela when the blame belongs squarely on his shoulders.

I also did not think that Angela's garment was that bad - I thought she tried to do something a little different within the confines of the competition.

I am glad that Jeffery is a recovering alcoholic, and has gotten his life together, but that does not give him the right to tear into others the way he does. I wonder how much was editing, and how much was really him? Hmmmm. Angela's mom is representative of many American women - deal with it you asses. There are many women who are large and not comfortable with their bodies. What he designed was just butt ugly - but Robert's looked like something I could take off my sheet rack and just wear. So the right person went home.

Love Uli, and love that her mom is wonderful. Angela has some of the same characteristics of her mom, the lip twist . . .

Kayne - oh what will you do without your bitch buddy? Life is just about over. And, get over your hair - I have had enough. I still like Laura, but not her outfit last night.

Anyone else think Tim was crying when he was escorting Robert out? I thought he got all teary.

Poor, poor Kayne. I am very sad to see Team Jolene disbanded.
