Threadjack - just a quick hug to Em!
He could, Em, and vocally he'd probably be great for it, but Michael Cerveris does a kick-ass "Story of Chess," so he won out. I thought about Mano for Walter, but he just doesn't seem slimy enough.
Hi, DG!
Mano is not slimy! He would be a cute arbiter, though. Then again, I should stop proverbially tossing him into Raul's roles. He could be.... I dunno.
Notice the title people. I couldn't resist.
As long as the words don't end up incarnated in Photoshop...
Mano + Finishing the Hat = My life being complete.
P.S. Does the arrangement include Cowbell?
Clueless, yet logical. Cold --> hat. (Well, the hats appear in warm weather, too...) Rain --> raincoat. I mean, even if it looks like I took it from the closet of the kid I babysit for, it DOES keep you dry.
The only thing about the coat was that it didn't look very warm, which isn't a problem on a night like tonight, but yesterday it got cold and wet...
Bedtime for the official highschooler (eek!)
As much as I love Mano singing, I would love to see him do a straight play. But, Mano on any stage in the New York area is good enough for me, really.
I think it's impossible to be outside and be warm in this kind of weather. It's wet and windy and just... bleh.
I hate bleh weather. Especially when it goes on and on and on. Meh...
I know he's not slimy! That's why I can't see him as Walter. I think he'd make a fun Arbiter, but I've never seen him in anything that campy and crazy (although the pictures from some of the other shows he's been in would imply that he's done things like that.
He can wear the cape!
I feel like I have just come to appreciate Mano's brilliance in terms of his acting, but I can't imagine not hearing him sing. I guess it all depends, and I'd rather him be up on a stage doing *something* than nothing.
I'd be curious to see him in a straight play, though I'd definitely prefer to see him sing.

Seriously? You girls can see him as the Arbiter? I always imagined the Arbiter as someone who looks a bit older than Mano.

...I'm going to ignore those questions.
Moving on, here are some pictures from Stars in the Alley:
Would you like his age in years, months, days, hours, or seconds? And height in metric or standard?
I love those pictures! Of course, he's got a beanie!

Dana, forgive the Heathers. According to Broadway.com he says he's in his early 30's. Looking at the pictures above, I'd say he's about 5'7" or 5'8"
