Totally looks like they are giving Gravity all these awards now cause they are giving 12 years a slave the best picture Oscar. I hope I'm wrong though.

Is it just me or did Liza not look that impressed after Pink's performance? She was one of the last to stand up...

From Susie Bright's Twitter:

All of the interstitial "improv" scenes are based on child-like pleasures: pizza, selfies, infant this, adolescent that.

Give the woman a break, she has two fake knees and two fake hips.

"Ellen is doing a fantastic job and this has to be one of the best Oscar telecasts I've seen in quite awhile."

I agree wholeheartedly Carlos. I'm having so much fun watching this. Better than any Oscars show I can remember.

'The Wizard of Oz' has been a staple of life since I was little boy. I just finished showing it to the kids at my school and whenever I watch it I never tire of it's magic. That was a wonderful tribute to this beautiful movie.

L'Headband, I think it looked like she just couldn't get up as quickly as everyone. And, who knows, I'm sure that sitting at the Academy Awards watching a tribute to your mother's most iconic role and song has got to bring up a whole mix of emotions. Who knows what she was thinking?

BTW, I loved when Liza grabbed Lupita for a congratulatory hug when Lupita wasn't even going toward her. I know that that move came from a generous and loving place, but it was amusing.
