Aside from the usual jokes that Hollywood celebrities don't eat in gearing up for awards shows, am I missing some kind of inside joke about pizza...? They are really underusing Ellen right now.
"then change the channel. I think most of us are enjoying it."
Is it too much to ask that on an awards show celebrating creativity that there is zero creativity?
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Ellen has about as much edge as contemporary western gay culture.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Addy, what I meant was that I'd like to see her do more of her standup. She is a poorly underused comedienne in general because she's primarily known these bits that are more interactive and personal. While it's fun to see her truly engage with the stars, I miss her jokes and comedic timing... which is lost in the bits with selfies and pizza.
Wait, WHAT???? I don't want to see f**king PINK. I WANT LIZA!!! LIZA LIZA LIZA!!! EVERYONE TO THE SQUARE ITS TIME TO SET SOME SH*T ON FIRE.

I don't know why acknowledging Kim Novak's appalling appearance--which is clearly a product of her own electable surgical choices, as opposed to the unavoidable aging process--is considered the same thing as an "attack" or mean-spirited. It's not like people are talking about June Squibb's wrinkles or something. Anyway, let's move on.
