good God.
I don't trust the train. I am taking her myself. It's only 20 minutes away. Leaving in a few. I am having a celebratory hot fudge sundae on the way home. Who's joining me?
From where?
I'd give myself more than that.. Book yourself a spot at the spa.

Although I hesititate to count my chickens before they've hatched, I must say, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

somehow, i dont think this is the end.
"I am taking her myself."
... and that, boys and girls, is the moral of this sordid, neverending saga.
In other words:
"If you want something done, do it yourself."
Goooood Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeews!
She's goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooone!
The evil au pair is gone!
The leechingest bitch there ever was...
I won't have to medicate tonight because...

Na na na na.

Atrias, if only I didn't thinks so, too. She left us the new phone number and while I was out the mom posted it beside all the phones in the house. We are not answering if it is from that number. lol

If I were you I'd:
"Wave your little hand and whisper so long dearie
You ain't gonna see me anymore!"
FW, I was thinking the same thing, but you beat me to it.
Congratulations, JG2!!!
At the same time, I'm kind of sad. This thread was so entertaining, plus I'll miss Wonderwaiter's commercial breaks!
Aw, thanks Dottie - but this is BWW. I'm sure we'll have another serial drama soon enough. I'm just glad this one has been successfully resolved.
At least, I hope it has. She didn't have enough cash for train fare BACK did she?
ETA - I'm glad she can't actually get back. I'd have posted that as a new message, but I think 666 is a fitting end to this thread.

The new boss actually offered to pay for a cab to take her the 20 miles from here to there. I said I would be HAPPY to take her. I want to know exactly where she is so I can avoid that area. I didn't think 20 miles was far enough, but these people do not have an extra car for her to drive, so she will be stuck there. pity.
And this was post 666. I am going to hell.

Bye-bye, so long, farewell
Bye-bye, so long
You did get the key?
This reminds me of an old SNL sketch with John Bbelushi wherein they pariodied old 1950's hooror movies with the trailer " The Thng That Wouldn't Leave"
Changing the locks Monday.

In a way I'm so relieved for you.
...in an other way I'm sad because this merry daily soap ended. Ah well... maybe someone else gets himself an unwanted guest now???
The home she is living in is gorgeous. It's large with a mostly glass front right on the lake. The nearest store is two or so miles away. They do not have a car for her to drive. She is stuck there. AND she is a heavy smoker. AND she didn't tell them she smokes. AND the mother seems high maintenance. She once fired someone because she had tattoos on her arms that she didn't see in the interview. They have never had an au pair stay a year. We are thinking of changing all of our numbers.
Thinking of changing the numbers?! That should have been done already.
