I remain unconvinced that Frieda is leaving for RIR: TM although she would be perfect because years ago she did a non-Eq Cats.
I didn't know she was doing Rose Is Rose.
I bet that show takes over the Hilton once Spiderman closes.

"not only did Tina sign, she had the signer for the deaf people sign as she signed. "
yeah but Frieda actually "signs" the song while she sings for the deaf audience members and unlike Tina she is not a vile dancer.

Just like the show! Let's not forget we all love theater!

The only prob is if you are SRO you cannot see the signing (altho you can hear the singing).
But the important question is, really, how angry were you? And was it upset angry, or disappointed angry? Because those are two very separate emotions, I studied psychology.

Yeah, but if you're deaf, you're screwed.

Great question LuvtheEmcee. I am no psychologist although my mom is and all I know is that the deaf audience members get LOTS of love from Frieda during the audience interaction. The best part is they are so surprised bc when they come from behind they cannot hear them approaching. However I do not know if deaf people's psychologies are different. I will ask my mom.

I was disappointed excited and then the secondary emotion was rage at the stupid idiot tourists who didn't know how monunmental this was.
I know Tina will be happey to loose the bangs - she said she didn't like bangs when I talked to her at the stage door one time when she was in VORNADO, the musical. I'm sooooooooo happey for her. I wish they still had the replacement Tonies - she NEEDS a Tony!
Stupid tourists! They deserve to be hit by moving vehicles, as they are of extreme annoyance to me and my boyfriend.
Oh my God, Emcee, I know what you mean. There were all these stupid tourists crowding up the stage door when Frieda was doing "Deer The Musical." So unnecessary.

I know luvtheEmcee, we get it, the buildings are tall now get out of my way because I have a show to see.
D2, V:TM was awful. Once they started to do all those musicals about building materials, I started to crave more musicals from big screen movies again.
RIR will never make it to Broadway, anyway. A friend of mine sent me the bootleg of the reading last year, and they cut out the alter ego confrontation number ("Rose, Get Off That Motorcycle And Back Into The Kitchen") that totally made the show...so, I don't know why she's bothering (the cat has the best number still)
I want to post something else but I'm laughing too hard to even know what to say!!
Calling me ignorant just means your jealous, namo. I am not a hater. LMSDFWUDSCZ was my favorite show until it ran for two years and became a hit. I was only 12 back then so I didn't know everything I know now which is obviously more than you know. Just because a show runs a long time and becomes a hit and wins 27 Tonys's and gets good reviews and is sold out every night doesn't mean its good. Have you ever even seen a musical before? Now my eyes have been opened and I see it for the touristy corporate commercial pile of garbage it truly is. If it wasn't for F'rieda, the show would of closed in previews. And yes, F'rieda dropped the apostrophe after she dumped that a-hole with permanent neck damage, but only from her professional acting credits. If you weren't so completely hopeless, you would of seen the scanned bounced check she wrote to Domino's Pizza LAST MONTH on thesmokedherring.com. Everyone was talking it about in F'rieda's PPV member's only message board of her blog's vlog private access page. And no, I don't correct people when they say, "Glinda" because I wouldn't be caught dead at Wicked. I had a ticket for opening night, but I thankfully was unable to see the show because the season finale of The Bachelor was on that night. Are all of you blind, deaf and stupid? Nobody likes Tina. Everybody knows that.
I know - Tina also told me she hated being in that show but that it got her her equitty (sp?) card so she loved that about it. I didn't like it much either, so I only saw it 10 times.
Well, I saw it 100 times because I think she's really, really really hot, even though the show sucked. So there, I'm her biggest fan, since I sat through the show even though I didn't like it just for her. I win.

MisterMatt is dividing us again people. We all love theater.
I really dont have time for this, as I am sipping tea along the Seine awaiting my flight to Switzerland where I will be spending the summer studying the TRUE theatre...that's right bitches...THEAT-R-E!
Dont you be hating on Tina, MM. She's one of the nicest people I met ever. And she remembered me tha last time I saw her and she would of stayed to talk to me if she didnt have to catch the subway.

I happen to know, from my MANY connections in the biz (that's what we call it) that Emcee was even TOLD by Frieda that she could officially call herself "Freidsnumberonefan". She doesn't use it as a sn because she's just that cool.
That said, Freida sucks.
doodle - do you speak 112 languages? And do you take advice from housekeepers?
Btw, I heard that Frieda lies about her age.
Doodle is such a lying shilly sock. I have been canvassing the Seine 24/7 for the last six months and he's never been there. If he was, he would know the German's spell it "theater" which is why there is no Broadway in Germany. Outside of Broadway, there is no true theatre, just community theatre crap. Only Broadway actor's get paid, you pathetic douchebag.
D2 - Tina's a classless whore with no talent. F'rieda would never be caught riding the subway.
