Oh, I must beg to differ! Tara and her new love can get freaky on every episode as far as I am concerned. 
Episode 2 was far better than 1. The fairy thing was bananas. I don't care about Sam. I am interested in Tara again. I will always love Lafayette. I liked that they are going to be doing this storyline from the books. Eric's amnesia was fun and Alexander looked beautiful at the end of the show. Swedes are damn fine.

Episode 2 was infinitely better than the premiere. Fiona Shaw is going to freak me out every week obviously. She's great!
Only thing I didn't love was the panther stuff, which just left me rolling my eyes.

I could just say Jason Stackhouse in a police outfit but there was a lot to love in the first episode, aside from the boring first 10 minutes.
I loved Arlene's freakouts with her baby and the 'beheading' of the dolls.
Loved Lafayette and so happy the writers are beginning to dig out of their Tara problem and return to a season 1 form. I found Eric's testimony in the commercial to be quite funny (and Pam's 'attempt' right down to her pink outfit). Really anything involving Pam. Always love Hoyt and Jessica. Fiona Shaw looks like another fantastic guest star casting coup.
Sam is going to start having dreams about Bill again for me to be interested.

I must confess that the 1st 2 episodes of season 4 have drawn me back into the fold. The previous 2 seasons were nearly abominable but I sense that redemption is on the horizon.
Haven't read the books & still haven't warmed to the cougar business; too many supernaturals for one series. And thank goodness the werewolves and that werebiatch Debbie are history. They were nearly as dreadful as MaryAnn & the protracted Monad foolishness from season 2.
Totally luvin' Tara again. Had no idea that her latest turn would make her endearing. The style upgrade works wonders for her as well as the 5 lbs Rutina's put on that fill out her frame a bit. The biggest (pleasant) surprise is Bill Compton. Dude seriously has his mojo back.
Please let the rest of this season live up to the early promise!
I can't wait to find out if the witches will be successful in their next attempt at ...

I thought last night's episode was the best so far this season.
The Bill and Jessica scene was so sweet, although I have a feeling she's going to get herself into some serious trouble soon. But oh, my Jessica, why'd you have to go glamouring Hoyt like that? This is not going to end well.
Hotshot is nasty. I did laugh at Crystal with the curlers in her hair, but god, I wish they'd just drop Hotshot completely and use that time for the further adventures of Nan Flanagan.
I'm glad that Tara is still being awesome. She's almost back to season one levels of awesome.
I liked the Tommy and Maxine scene, with her helping him read. Even though she's pretty awful, I feel bad that Tommy's trying to screw her behind her back.
