Posted: 1/28/09 at 4:33pmdan, it's funny that the Snuggie thread found it's way back up top, because it's actually been an ongoing topic in the office for the past two days. I am threatening to bring it in to work and wear it once it arrives because they can't seem to regulate the temperature here. A friend of mine superimposed my head over the image, Bedazzled it and e-mailed it to a bunch of us. He gave me man hands, though!

Posted: 1/28/09 at 4:41pmThat's the Slanket--competition for the Snuggie! It's more expensive but comes in better colors. I think the Snuggie is a welfare version of the Slanket.

Love the bedazzled, Snuggie, blue!
And to answer the OP's question, I am in a Wegman's at least twice a week, and I have never heard anyone in front of the store yelling loudly about anything.

Posted: 1/29/09 at 7:55amWell I'm in Buffalo, and there's a Wegmans practically on every corner here. It's the only grocery store I ever shop in. I think it's the best store eva.

Posted: 1/29/09 at 9:19amI saw them selling the Snuggie in Walgreens. Can't say I wasn't tempted!

Posted: 1/29/09 at 10:08amI love Wegmans. Of course we don't have one here, but I get to go there when I'm down the shore in the summer.

I love Wegmans as well. Too bad the closest one to me is in Scranton, PA.
It was the cleanest and nicest looking supermarket I ever shopped in. Actually, the only reason I stopped there was because I needed a change in atmosphere because the closest supermarket was in ghetto South Scranton. I'm not even joking.

Posted: 1/29/09 at 11:47amWegmans is like Target in that I always end up buying random stuff I wasn't planning on. "ooh, these plastic wine glasses for the pool are great! Ooh, look at these little mini rubber bowls! What they are for I'm not sure, but I must have them!

I have been told by my teen friend that the Slanket is a more acceptable because they just go ahead and make fun of themselves.

Posted: 1/29/09 at 12:01pmI'm not a fan of Wegman's. Everything cost twice that of other stores (homemade soup for $4.95 for 12 oz.); I don't want to shop in mood lighting (turn up the freaking lights -- I'm old!); and the checkout lines are slower than beyond slow -- hire some freaking baggers.

See I think their prices are pretty much the same as the other stores around here.
Joe, they don't sell a snuggie, but they sell Croc's!
