I find it hard to call my parents just Mom and Dad. I have always been calling them mommy and daddy, but everytime I try to say just mom, I can't help but get the "-my" in. Same goes with my dad....dy.

Sometimes I call my parents mommy and daddy, too.
For a brief time in 7th grade I called them by their first names.

Mom and Dad, although sometimes it's just Mom and Leo. His first name seems less respectful for some reason, so I tend to use it quite a bit.
just mom and dad.
i have different names for my grandparents though. both my grandmothers are grandma but my grandfathers were nono (pronounced naw-no) and papa.
Mom and Dad for me, but actually I was just had a discussion like this...several people I know call their parents by their first names. That just feels weird for me, personally.
Just Mom and Dad.
Mom, Ma, Mommy, Mother...it all depends on how I'm feeling at the moment.
They both passed on years ago so I think of them from time to time & say a prayer for them both
My mom is momma and my dad (step-dad) is D-dub. (his initials are DW...when we were kids my mother wouldn't let my sister and I call him by his first name because it wasn't repectul enough.)
Usually mom and dad. When I was obsessed with the show LORELEI though, I used to call my mom Mamalei...she thought it was cute.
used to call them mom and dad.....now we've started calling my dad "old man", trying to make him realize that most of the time he's being a little ****

I call them mom and dad.
For my grandparents on my dad's side (who have passed), I called them Bubby and Zayda.
And for my mom's side (my Poppop has passed), I call them Mommom and Poppop.
Usually they're just mom & dad, with the occasional Mammoy & Daddy. And sometimes I call my mom "momma",
(which yes is different from a 'mamma' sounds, ya know?)
Mom and "Hey."
Honestly, my dad has never been a part of my life, so whenever I do see him I don't bother with a name. "Hey, could you please pass the remote?" "Hey, where did you want to go to dinner?"
Mom = Ma
Dad = Daddy or Dad
Elphaba and Mr. Cellophane
My mother is always "Mom", but my dad varies from "Daddy" to "Dad" to "Michael" when he annoys me.

Mom or Ma, depending on how whiny I'm feeling.
Was young and still called my father Daddy before he died. Always used my stepfather's first name.
My Father I just call 'Dad'
My Mother... Well, I have several names for her...
*unt is the first one that come to mind
*itch is a close second....
NORMALLY-Mom and Dad
WHEN I'M SICK--Mommy and Dad
WHEN I'M MAD AT THEM--Mom and "That B@stard"
I can't make myself call them anything. I avoid addressing them when I do speak to them. I refer to the as "my mother" and "my father," but the words don't really mean more than the basic biological relationship to me.
I was raised by my great-aunt. When I was a tiny child, I called her Auntie. Some folks thought I was saying "Annie."
I called her that to the end. Even now, it is odd to hear her referred to as Aunt Carmela.

Dad's Dad . He's 89.

My dad died when I was 20..... He was dad when I was older and Daddy when I was little.
My mother is mom or ma... or Mom Dukes. She loves that. But in public, I have to call her Mel or Melody to get her attention -- she'll seldom answer to mom when we're in a store or something.
