I call my mom different things at different times. When I'm in a good mood I call her "Mom," "Mama," and when I'm in a silly mood I call her "Madre." When I am irritated I call her "Mother." I just call my dad "Dad."

I call my mother "Mom" when I am talking to her. But if I am referring to her when I talk to my grandmother - then I say "Mommy." I don't see my father but when I talk about him to my mom I refer to him as "Daddy." I don't really know why that is, but my mom does it with her parents too.

I call my mother "mami", mom or mother.
My father is usually dad, though I call him "roco" if we are joking around (it means old man for us)

Ma and Dad.
I could never do the first name thing - it seems too disrespectful.

mauriposa, I tend to refer to my parents as Mom and Dad, even when in conversation with non-family members. I had a roommate once who was like, "Well, she's not my mother. Why are you just calling her Mom? I don't even know her." I'd never thought about it. And, quite frankly, I didn't really put that much stock in her opinion. That roommate was a horrible person.
But anyway... I call 'em Mom and Dad.

Mashi and Dad
One time, with family, I called my mom by her name "Ruth" and it just slipped out. Everything got all quiet and awkward, it was very peculiar.

"Mom" or "mother", depending on my mood. I do recall using "mommy" when I was like like 8 or younger. "Hey you!" seems to work for everyone...
Or sometimes "the parentals", although in my case they really aren't a collective group, but "the parental" sounds wrong.

Oh good, finally another Mum! My father is just dad, or "Daaaad" with an eyeroll when I was a teenager.
I refer to my in-laws as Mom and Dad, but I have a hard time calling them that to their faces.
