Hello all! Glad to hear your Saturday's are going well so far! I did some shopping, caught up with some friends for dinner, opened a bottle of wine (explains any typos I may make) and watched a movie (Clerks II hilarious!! I never thought I would like Rosario again after the RENT movie, but she rocked in this). Don't know what the rest of the night holds, but I just wanted to say hi!!

Walter Stripping Update
Ok. I totally DID NOT get halfway done yesterday. After 1 1/2 hours of stripping today, I'm ALMOST done. But not quite. Still need to finish his haunches, tail, and then trim his face and belly. My hands are numb...
Now to shower and go to my landlord's Christmas party. The funny part is that I'm not even staying at the house...

Dang. Wide awake. Totally.
Nice evening. My landlords had a lovely Christmas party. Then went out to dessert with a friend, and it was a nice evening, so we went down for a walk to the beach - ok, the beach is on the lake, but it was still nice.
Now I'm back and I'm wide awake, and for some reason I can't bet my laptop to recognize the network here.

Me evening ended by me passing out and waking up with a pounding headache. I'm becoming such a wine-o! Today is full of cleaning, watching the Giants game, and more cleaning. I lead such a fun life!

Well... got 8 hours of sleep. But going to bed at almost 4 am means that it's now almost noon.
Today: finish stripping Walter, do some freelance stuff, and then sushi for dinner. Yay!

Yes, hep, Walter does indeed have a double coat. The wire hair and the soft undercoat.

Can't just 'let him be.' His hair needs to be maintained or it gets matted. And even though wire hairs do not shed, if comes to the point where the hair just falls off them.
