Glad you made it home ok.
We're totally into winter weather. Lots of rain expected, up to 1' of snow on the mountains TODAY.

It seems to be pretty nice outside. I was thankful that there were no delays for my flight today.

I know!! I finally saw my first flurry on Thursday night! And that only lasted a few moments! As much of a hassle shoveling, etc is, I am sort of disappointed we haven't seen ANYTHING.

Well... again, technically, Santa and the Christmas tree are NOT Christian symbols. They were adopted by the Catholic church in order to usurp the pagan celebrations of the winter solstice.
I think it's interesting that even though Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus for Christians, for most people it is more a celebration of family and togetherness. And commercialism.

We watched WHITE CHRISTMAS last night...not one single mention of Jesus or god or any of that.
Vera-Ellen and Danny Kaye doing "The Best Things Happen While You're Dancing" is my favorite part.

He is not festive at all except for watching the above movies & It's a Wonderful Life! I saw WC & IAWL for the first time last year, and this year will be a first for Holiday Inn.
