I will see it in DC. My sister and I already planned to see it on Christmas Day.
San Fran on Friday? That should be fun! Is this business or pleasure?

Very much pleasure. Our friends from Atlanta have moved back to 'The City,' and have invited us up to join their 'made' family for Christmas (one of the partners is a childhood friend of the TinMan - and Cheeze actually met these guys when we met him a couple of years ago!) We're really looking forward to the break - retirement, so far, hasn't been all that relaxing!
Then we're back down here for a day or two, then over to Scottsdale for the New Years thing.
Sounds exciting! Do you get to see cheeze too?
Scottsdale?

I tried to contact Cheeze, but no response. You know how us queens can be
And Scottsdale is where I moved here from. We'll be staying at our friends house who actually introduced us. Plus, my parents are actually now down there (thanks to ME flying up to Colorado last week and driving my mother down there!) We really like the area - and it's away from HERE
I know the feeling.
I can't wait for Sunday to arrive and get away from HERE for a while.
And then I can't wait to come back. This gig has me really stoked.

Ride that creative wave, baby - in my experience, it's those moments that stick out.
And I'm not even going to digress into how exciting things that 'stick out' are - but you get my meaning
*in my best australian accent"
You are terrible, DG!

I have no idea why the Australian accent was necessary - but you're right, I am
And I'm also tired, so a very good night to you, Sir - sweet dreams
erm... Muriel's Wedding.
Good night good sir.
I'm off as well to do some more work.

Ahhhhh - I only saw that once (years ago) so it didn't register.
But Toni Collette is ALWAYS a good thing
Don't be up too late!
Wow, weren't we the talkative bunch last night! I missed some good coverstation. Good morning all! It is getting quite chilly over here and I guess it's my fault for complaining about it being too warm last week!

Morning, Tink. Yes, when these mouths get to running, very little can stop them
I'm hoping it warms up a little here - it's been a little cool, which is NOT why we live here!

Happy Humping Day! I am planning on taking a few days off next week and also really want to clear my desk for the new year.
I'm really trying to work, but it's like subconsciously my mind has already shut down into vacation mode!!! Help! =)

Morning, brd - glad to hear you're taking some time for relaxation.
And sorry, Tink, but I think being in a vacation frame of mind is a FABULOUS thing! Of course, I'm not your boss, so they might have a different opinion
I think it's fabulous too if people would stop coming by my office and asking for things! They are the one's ruining it!! Damn people. What do they expect, productivity? execution? ehh, over-rated! Ok, I'm better now!
I actually brought in a little desk lamp and am using that for lighting. That way if people are coming over and just glance down the hall, they will think I am out of my office and walk away. My boss actually thought it was a really good idea!
Congrats on the new job DD!
Today is my last day of work til Jan! I love winter break!
I hear ya, tink. Like I've said before: going on vacation for me is a pain anymore. I have to get the same amount of work done, only in less time.
And on top of all of that, once we get back from all of the holiday breaks, we are "shut down" for the next week to do physical inventory counts in all of our warehouses, so that doubles the work needed to be done in the next few days.
Eh well, that's life! I just found out that a client of ours invited everyone in my dept (all 4 of us woohoo) out to lunch today, except me. I'm quite annoyed!
Wow, you guys are making me feel so good about my job!
Well... I whine. But truth is, I really do love my job, and am grateful to be one of the people to have a job they truly enjoy.
haha, L, I was told that several times last night as well! I guess that's my purpose in life. That I can always make people know that my company is more ass backwards, annoying, and horrible than theirs! But yet I never leave, so it's my own fault!
I need a Jewish person to come skiing with me on Christmas day.
sorry, can't help you out there, but I hope you find someone!
Only jews can ski on Christmas Day? Christmas Day is one of the busiest days in the local ski areas.
