TRASH! GET OFF BROADWAY!!
This play was TOTAL TRASH!!
4 special affects that were cool, but the other 2hrs 35 mins was a cheap high school play with actors that spoke to fast with whiny annoying voices. Pissed I didn’t leave after intermission and had to fight from falling asleep of boredom!!
Save your money, this show complete TRASH!!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I completely agree, they kept talking about doing Oklahoma during the show, I wish I was watching Oklahoma. I didn’t fully understand what was happening because u need to see the tv series to know what’s going on.
I really, really disliked this as well. Loud, long, and boring. Also, the gratuitous graphic animal violence was extremely unnecessary and disturbing.

'Stranger Things 5' Series Finale to Play in Movie Theaters

The smell test for me was if the show, without access to the source material, would be able to stand on its own and it failed miserably. It was more like getting a full assault on my senses than actually telling me a cohesive story.
I will say that Louis McCartney was really acting his Lily-white a$s off up there and that was the only Tony nomination I thought this show deserved.

But you don’t. The show is a prequel to the series. I haven’t seen an episode and I really enjoyed it in London.
Could have just been a personal problem, but I stumbled my way through the first season of the Netflix show twice and still couldn’t figure out what was happening during most of the Broadway play. Coupled with the simulated animal violence, I thought it was such a turd.
I don't want to spoil anything and I've never seen the show so I can't really speak on it, but it seemed like a prequel that leads into the series, to me. I'm a production nerd, so I was really taken by all the stage craft so I wasn't really concerned with the actual play. But I was entertained.

JKO - who hurt you? Thoughts and prayers and condolences.
Slight spoiler, but I thought the effect of them falling from the theater rafters was really breathtaking.
