Posted: 9/7/05 at 8:32amI'm with Shira- The Carebears would kick some butt. There are so many of them and one bear (or cousin)'s stare power would knock out at least 20 smurfs. So that is what 6 bears or cousins to knock out the 100+ smurfs> Yeah, Carebears win hands down.

I would say the carebears.... but all the smurfs have to do is get everyone in the world to hate eachother and never be happy - then the carebears' power is weak! Remember that meter thing?
And the smurfs could do it easily since they are so small!

OK, this is honest-to-God my favorite topic. This just confirms my opinion that most BWWers are high, though.
I believe that the Smurfs would definitely win, but they would have to recruit help from their long-time allies, the My Little Ponies. Remember those My Little Ponies with the jewels for eyes? Those jewels could create major problems for the Care Bears in the form of blindings, radiation poisoning, and urinary tract infections. Watch out, Funshine Bear!

touchmeinthemorning makes a very good point, but I'd like to twist it further.
Both The Carebears and The Smurfs are, by nature, very happy creatures.
They generally only fight in the service of their own survival.
They would never get into a warring situation to begin with unless they felt that the other group posed a serious danger to them.
They live in places that are separated by great distance.
Therefore, neither side would ever have the opportunity to pose a threat to the other.
Also, each group is "good" and only fights against "evil", meaning that they are on the same side, and for either to threaten the other would, in turn, cause them to turn allies into enemies, and thus threaten their own existance.
And since they act with self-preservation as top priority, neither side would want to upset the balance by threatening the other.
In conclusion, no one would win, as there could never be a war.
