Gosh, I can appreciate the levity.  She was a really good sport.  Thanks for sharing.  I've had several exchanges this week with childhood friends who've come out of the closet as Trump supporters.  They're convinced that Trump is a uniter who can make America great again.  #StrangeTimes

I now think this Enquirer thing may be the first thing to backfire on him.

I know this is anecdotal but I know of no thinking woman who supports Trump.

It's mainly the bros who are riding his jock and their wives who have been trained to never rock the boat.  Trumphiles are convinced that a Trump presidency will guarantee them a portion of his wealth via the process of osmosis, a trophy wife in place of the one they're currently saddled with, and restoration of their priesthood in the public sphere which is a euphemism for something I dare not post on this message-board.  He's turned this entire election into The Apprentice Goes to Washington.  When I saw Omarosa shilling for him last month, I texted a colleague joking that she'd be his most likely first pick for SCOTUS.

Yeah, it's good to focus on the positives.

I just don't think that our 35 yr high school class reunion planned for next year will survive the general election, not when the class president and her husband are prominent Trump supporters.

It's the 3-letter jock who's dating the hot cheerleader vs the guy most likely to become president in the future, in keeping with the high school theme.

Has Hillary spoken out against the NC embarrassment yet?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

According to my sources, both Clinton and Sanders have.

Of course she did.

Beware of your hatred, Luke. It is the dark side, and it will destroy you.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa!  ^That made me laugh more than it should have, PJ.

Congrats to Bernie on his big wins in Washington and Alaska (and probably Hawaii, at this point, it seems). If he does well in Wisconsin next week, I think he'll be in it until the summer.  I watched a tiny bit of his speech in which he - very smartly, I think - appealed directly to not only progressives but conservatives and moderate Republicans who are sick of their party's infighting.   It's a page out of Hillary's book, but it's also probably just smart politics (for both Bernie and for the DNC in general) at this point and a perhaps a small preview of how, if he's not the nominee, he can help Hillary win in November.

Wow.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Do your research. He won a few second-tier caucuses that no one takes seriously. This country is not going to elect a loud, whiny, old Socialist Jew. You'd better pray it's Hillary versus Trump so we'll have a democratic president. If this country is stupid enough to have Bernie as candidate, Trump will win in a landslide. He'll get Republicans and Democrats. Me included.

The idea that you'd vote Trump instead of Sanders reflects your own stupidity.

While fflagg's tone was rude, his premise is kind of true. These are pretty insignificant states, and they do little to cut into Clinton's overall delegate advantage.

What the three"insignificant" victories do is give his campaign a boost, and Fflagg, you're obviously an idiot.
