food Network Hosts You Hate

So, I don't know about anyone else here, but I am an obsessive viewer of The Food Network. But some of the hosts...they just get on my nerves. For example, Rachael Ray. She's definitely been way overblown lately and her food isn't that stellar. She says everything she makes is healthy and yet she usses half-bottle of EVOOextravirginolivoil in EVERYTHING she makes! And then there's the pretentious hippo Ina Garten and the airhead Cool Whip queen sandra Lee. Does anyone else get annoyed by these people?

Bobby Flay is soooo boring. He has multiple tv shows just like Rachel Ray and it annoys me!! I love to watch "Good Eats" on the Food Channel though. Alton Brown is such a great host. I love the way he mixes humor and interesting facts about the food that he uses into the show. I could watch that show forever.

EW, EMERIL! I totally forgot about him and his "gah-lic". He's possibly the worst actor of all time.

not to mention Marc Summers. "Hi, I'm...Mark Summers and I...host Unwrapped on...The Fokod Network."

I'm not trying to threadjack here but I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I love Paula Deen. One night she said that when she was younger she hated avocados but then when she found out the fat content in them she then knew that she could "learn to love 'em".

What I hate more than Emeril are the folks in his studio audience. They act like they've never seen "gah-lic" before with their ooohs and ahhhs.

I know! Emerils' audiences are such enablers. Anytime he puts any kind of alcohol in anything, they cheer. Jeez!

And then there's Sandra Lee's alcoholism. She has at least one rink in each episode. Last week, she made the same amount of cocktails as dishes, and they were all like 3 parts alcohol and 1 part juice or mix. It was sickening.

Rachel Ray makes me want to throw a brick at the tv. I hate the yum o, delish, evoo, laughing, carrying everything she needs in an entire recipe to the counter.
Giada is lovely to watch and I like her food. Her teeth are amazing as is her cleavage.
Paula Deen is hard for me to watch because I hate her southern drawl. I don't like her cooking either.
I enjoy watching Ina Garten and I like her food so much I purchased one of her cook books.
I love Bobby Flay's cooking and I get great ideas from him.
I adore Mario Batali but I don't think I could ever make one of his recipes. He's fabulous though and I'd love to eat his food.
WHAT HAPPENED TO IRON CHEF JAPAN??? I miss hearing "if memory serves me right."

Giada's food is spectacular but her "food-gasms" (the way she reacts whenever she tastes her food) are insane. And her teeth are just MASSIVe. She does have a nice rack, though.

Rachel Ray
Emeril
Warren Brown (don't even get me started, how this guy even got his own show is beyond me)
Sandra Lee (pretentious skank)

the guy who comments during the chef competitions

Gordon Elliott (who produces such drek as Sandra Lee's show)

Paula Deen - I realize she has worked hard for where she is, but one of the days I'm waiting for her to lay an egg as she always cackles when she puts food in her mouth!

I was just flipping through and saw Emeril's audiences applauding when he poured SAUCE on top of a dish! Wow, talk about an excitable crowd.

They're dead now but does anyone remember the two fat ladies?
(I'm not being mean-that's really what they called themselves)

They were so skeevy and everytime I saw them cook I would say to myself after they touched my food I would never eat it.

Ha ha! I thought I was the only person that this annoyed. What is the point of using an abbreviation "EVOO" if you are ALWAYS going to follow it up with the full name? And no one smiles that much. It's not natural. And Tasty Travels is GOOFY. In Nashville, she went to Bongo Java for breakfast and had an English muffin with egg and a slice of cheese. She ooohed and ahhhhed over it. It was a friggin Egg McMuffin with no meat. Insane.

Giada annoys the hell out of me but she doesn't bother me as much her show does. I don't need to get an audio close up of her chopping celery or smashing garlic. And her mouth is weird. I wait for her to say "pop," "crunch," or "crisp" on every show. She enunciates them so oddly.

Sandra Lee is an idiot. I hate her show. I saw the beginning of her show today and her hair was HYSTERICAL! On that reality show that Food Network does she said, "I have a strict rule. 60% store bought, 40% Homemade!" That cracked me up. Who decides percentages of what she does?? On the first show of hers that I saw, she was doing Halloween stuff. She made sandwiches on wonder bread with prosciutto and mustard. She cut them with ghost cookie cutter. What is homemade about that? Sounds freakin' NASTY!

I love Good Eats. Very interesting concept for a show.
I love Iron Chef America.
I like all the weird cooking showdown shows.
I also like Paula Deen. She can be a little annoying at times. lol

Man, I watch this channel too much.

We all watch this channel too much.

I like Giada, but she's always SO happy when chopping onions.

I LOVE Paula Deen. Emeril is okay, he gets on my nerves, but Rachael Ray takes the cake.

I like her Tasty Travels...but everything before and after "MMMM". It's just so redundant.

I LOOOOVE Unwrapped, and sometimes "The Secret Life Of..." but Jim can get annoying.

I also love Good Eats.

Sanda Lee is a traink wreck!

Giada is a sweetheart, but yeh i make fun of her mannerisms.

and Tyler Florence is a stud!
